I've decided to make this topic for my current WIP Mama Luigi.You've seen pics of him in the Screenshot topic. For the base character's sprites I'm going to use an edited version of NObody's Pesky Plumber Luigi. He's going to have helper moves based on the various memes of YTP.I'm also going to use sprites directly ripped from Faces of Evil and Wand of Gamelon. I ripped these myself using CD-I emulator and snipping tool. I may use some of the same form Hotel Mario.Recently I decided to start over completely on him, because I decided to use a different palette, and the fact that the old one was just full of holes. This is my first mugen creation after all.Anyway, now he has an Idle animation. Soon to have two punches, walking forward and back, jumping and ducking.
This is one step closer to having enough MUGEN characters based on U.S. Internet memes for creating "U.S. Internet memes VS. Japanese Internet memes" MUGEN battles, like "Angry Video Game Nerd VS. Game Center CX" for example.

oh..... Maybe I'm just conufsed I guess. There were some other forums that had wip rules. and if there were any wip topics saying something along the lines of "hey, I'm making this char." without screens, pics or no info, then it would be removed.But it would really be nice to see some working screen shots at least.
If anyone hasen't watched the DiC mario cartoons, I suggest you look up that episode on You Tube.I wonder who's next for this treatment? Cookie Monster? Maybe Dr. Rabbit with god powers?

Hello everyone, I'm back with updates and screenshots.Work is going quickly, he now has:A four frame standing/idle animation.An eight frame walking forward animation.An eight frame backing up animation.A four frame running/dash animation.and a three frame jumping animation. (both up and forward)I'm still working on the rest of the required sprites. Though I already have most of them done, I just need to convert them into PCX and put them into the SFF.Now, as I prommised. Pics to prove that he actually exists.Mama luigi and good 'ol KFM for size comparison.His big portrait, also staring SNES Mario.And to everyone who keeps wondering who "Mama Luigi" is.In one episode of the Super Mario World cartoon series, luigi found a baby yoshi, that would end up becoming his friend for the rest of the series. At first the yoshi thought luigi was his mother. Thus Mama Luigi was "born". The yoshi woud call him this several times throughout the episode, and at the end after yoshi ate most of Bowser's throne room, Mario said "You didn't tell me you were bringing a secret weapon Luigi." to which luigi replied "That's Mama Luigi to you Mario."That phrase has been used by the community that makes YTP (youtube poop) almost as much as the phrase "My boy" from the CDI.Yoshiart.com is a good place if you want to download the episodes of the SMW series. Who creates a single projectile of the instruction book from hotel mario. (Like OTH's movie poster attack. (Check out the enclosed instruction book))I've also thought about making his winpose where he changes his outfit during it. (Much alike Haruhi's first round winpose)
