What kind of hit detection is this ?

Ok so I have my character Kim Kaphwan from KOF Series.

First of all, let me explain. The problem revolves in two moves: The kick-up move and the Houou Kyaku move.
If I use the Houou Kyaku without using the kick-up to make a combo, it works perfectly. But If I kick the opponent up first then use the special move, nothing happen. Look at this.




I mean, what kind of hit detection is this ? The attack box hit the collision box but still nothing happenned! At first I thought the reason is because the "p2stateno" command so I changed to Targetstate but still the result doesn't change.

 Chances are, the F in the hitflag may be missing on the hitdef that whiffs on falling opponents. Without it, the hitdef will simply ignore enemies who are in hitdef.

No, hitflag from both hitdefs are MAFDE set. And it still goes that way.

Wait, did you check your juggling?

If it's a normal attack/combo special, then your juggle might be too low...

In the second shot, Kim has only 7 remaining juggle points. If the kick requires more, then it's going to whiff
