OMG HEAT! Nice looking sprite but i will never, EVER play that game again. Play that shit for hours and couldn't go to bed because the tracks where stuck in my head playing over and over again.

with that said there are some proportion issues with it but the face looks great which can be a challenge at times on LR sprites.

It's Zangief's face, from Capcom's sprites. No doubt it is good.
About the rest, yeah... it is a bit better. Still not good though. No shading on about everything, no muscles, what is happening in his legs? What about the grey pads? They should be his shoulders, not be like that...

James, what game are you talking about?

I thought he was talking about that Zangief edit, but he also said "OMG HEAT!". I was thinking about that actually, but then I answered keeping in mind he was giving feedback about Zangief... Buzz. I was wrong.

SFA sprites and CvS sprites are not the same or nearly the same (save for some characters, because Capcom decided to use Alpha sprites in CvS).

Karasai, I think you need to work more on it, complete it, because as it is it looks unfinished. I don't mean to offend with this comment.
- The shading doesn't suggest the CPS2 feeling; also, I don't remember characters with that kind of lighting (referring to the legs). Though, do tell me if there is one.
- In my opinion he should be bulkier, this sprite would look more fitting next to a CvS sprite rather than an Alpha sprite (try to do it);
- I suppose you went more into separating parts instead of re-using similar colours for more parts; eg, the yellow in the belt could be changed with one of the upper body's armor; same for those yellow stripes above the boots;

all in all, it's not a bad sprite, it's only unfinished. Keep on going!

What?  :???: CVS and SFA styles are 2 different things! What makes you think they're the same?

Green Ranger to go with KiwiRGB's Green Ranger MVC portrait


The shading of the Green Ranger looks CVS-ish. It's not CPS2-ish at all. Like Alex said, he should be bulkier in size of width and the shading should be changed. You can also resize the height a little bit big for it. The shading looks good, but it does not fit this topic.

Or better yet, everyone else can ignore Aumio, while the mods handle his posts which are slowly augmenting from worthlessness to nuisance status? Also, Aumio please get a new set of eyes, if you can't clearly tell the difference between CPS2 and CvS style.

Concerning Feedback, it's basically what Alex said. And for the pants, I don't actually recall a character with that leg shading. Maybe try looking at Chun-Li's sprite to simulate the feeling of leather (her SFZ sprites are kind of a leather outfit, no? :S).

Other than that, the Green Ranger sprite is not bad, mayne. :P

your sprite makes me think  cvs style ...for alpha style (MVC) you can maybe inspired by the body of spider-man or cyclops

One thing is for sure, his proportions do feel very thin and slim. It's hard to imagine a MVC styled character to have limbs that slim. You really need to make him a bit wider and thicker in general.

fei-long body is slender compared to other character like ryu, cody, guy ....maybe use as a base =s? (but I find that the body of feilong is similar to spider-man )
