Now that I'm awake, slightly less feverish, and no longer feeling like I'm about to barf, let's do this properly.



Features:
  • Pick your poison: Play Ming Ming with updated visuals, sounds, and gameplay or if the newfangled stuff isn't your thing, you can also have her use her original FX/sounds/etc.
  • A very freeform (maybe a little too free?) juggle system.
  • She's a Chinese robot girl. What more can you ask for?

Nitpicks and stuff °^° :
  • Short/hyper hop -> HP -> air Toutenbyou loop is an infinite.
  • Air Toutenbyou can juggle the opponent ad infinitum.
  • "The Lost Super" projectile gives back some power on hit.
  • I see you already have "To do: Fix the backwards Super Portrait when facing left" in the readme file, so I won't rant about it. °3°
  • Not sure whether it is intended, but it is possible to chain two Tenbu Houyoku Shou in the corner (and/or juggle afterwards)

Other than that, she seems like a solid character.

Oh wow XCB releasing new character ?! I must check this out. It really feels like Christmas now. I really like how you release/update your works ever once a year :D

I hope next time (In 2013) will be Blair Dame/Tetsu & Blaque turn. And I hope you don't make us wait until next winter hahaha. Anyway congrats on release Keep up good work.

The Toutenbyou problems are already being addressed.  I needed time to figure out a good plan of attack, so I decided to release it as is, hoping to get some more feedback. Thankfully, I've figured out a plan, so it will probably be patched by tonight/tomorrow.

You sure about that? The "getpower = 0,0" is there. No signs of powergain on my end.

Yeah, the way that was made was kind of tedious, so currently setting up an easier way to make the effect.

Juggling after THS is actually intentional. I guess that's one of the consequences of trying to make a bullshit combo system less bullshit. Though juggling after two is pretty counter intuitive as you've pretty much killed your damage scaling by 18 hits.

Huh... I'm sure I got a tidge of power back from hitting my opponent with the dagger... Will try against other characters, just in case.

Huh... I probably fixed that in one of my kneejerk updates and forgot to slip it in the file the first time. Oh well.

At any rate, archive has been updated and the Toutenbyou infinites are patched. Please redownload.

Thank you! Metal and lace 2 was a really fun fighting game that got largely overlooked by the Mugen community. This is the 4th char released from it right?

Nitpicks and stuff, Vol.2 °^° :
  • Hadn't noticed before, but Shinryuu Tenshin Houshuu and Houten Soushou give some power back.
  • The background part of the super background/portrait effect appears at full size during the first frame the helper spawns.
  • Not sure whether intended, but damage scaling doesn't seem to affect Toutenbyou.
  • The last part of "The Lost Super" won't connect if you don't have any juggle points left, and leave the opponent stuck in a custom state.
