Title: The Final Frontier: Bayonetta.
Post by: Ogre. on April 17, 2021, 10:23:31 PM
She'd be very easy to template some MVC Character like IronMan
IF BUT WE HAD SPRITES!
It saddens me to note I've found not a single rip,
as the process is either time-consuming or impossible. :(
Are there any artists working her sprites I don't know about?

No one at this point.
Why not do it yourself then? There's tutorial to learn to make a sprite, coding for moves and so many other things. If this is your first visit, then welcome. Don't expect a Bayonetta right now anytime soon. It takes time.

Me?

You've obviously no idea as to who I am :)

I've spent the last 15 years updating the 165 top mainstream characters for DC, Shounen, Marvel, and ArcSys Vs. Battles Wiki to 1.0.
I have the only acceptable Broly by command list that's ever been edited Under Boyzboyz;
I don't want to rip her sprites from DOA lmao -- let's say I do that. Hm? Let's say I do that. I'll put this into perspective for you real fast:

1. I make rip for her sprites based upon Ayane moveset via streetmodders.
2. I (quite literally somehow)
also manage to make gun helpers, and an acceptable helper sprite package.

Updating the painstates for both X-3 DarkPhoenix and Kefla to 1.1 took me 4 days.
This a 3-D Character I'm in consideration of rendering. The sprite per anim ration
is now somewhere between 15-1. I work 2 careers on top of this.
After Martial Arts, Music, and Employment, the time I could take toward the project independently
would cost me the next 36 months.

After this process be completed for 1.0 in hypothesis, there would still be a plague of gripes over how
her character does not match its lore to its entirety, even if the design and power listings, hell, even down through
the commands, match tier; A gripe I'll be damned if I hold alone.

I've come to this forum in ask of; Ahem, help lol

You've obviously no idea as to who I am :)

Seems it's common, since aside compilations and random mess YT mugen videos you're far from being known :/. You say you've spent the last 15 years updating characters to 1.0, but seems your edits are not seen anywhere.

Also, it's good you value yor real life stuff(martial arts, work, music) but what about other people's RL stuff? It's as saying that, s I do love Tekken a lot, I want them being made for mugen with decent graphics and gameplay just becauseI and only I want them. That without showing what I say I did inthe past.

etc etc.
Title: Re: The Final Frontier: Bayonetta.
Post by: Ogre. on April 21, 2021, 02:59:22 AM
Of course, they aren't; I've spent the time I've used creating edits to ensure exactly one complete copy
of the character of aforementioned detail is available for the exact reason previously stated:
4v4 compatibility for 1.0. So far I have done that, and as good as it can be done without the
original creators themselves having access to my level of knowledge. Sneeze at my notoriety as you may,
The MUGEN Community, especially in the West, is its own niche. I have more notoriety in my other
legitimate fields, as this is a sparetime hobby: yet my actions here come with just as much consideration
for this community; My community, as well as my own abilities in No Limit, not in your words,
"becauseI and only I want them." Warusaki3, Phantom of the Server, ZVitor, Boyzboyz, Ultrarobonin,
Reuben Kee, Nirvan-Ah' house his peace, several other incredible programmers
admittedly much more known than myself and I have given time and our lives for what has expanded to be a business.
BLACKLISTED WEBSITE has gone so Hollywood, the site doesn't work with VPN.
The whole site's so rigged with moderation, it's practically pay to play to find new character templates on it.
Other servers are shutting down, and I am but one of several racing to preserve a dream. :)

The human race really is egregious.
I brought this up bc I'm out of jail, back to making money, and I
saw a dispute between Dante and Bayonetta on twitter;
two comments in which have been erased on this thread by someone for some reason:
More than likely because this place has become no better than anywhere else.
Seeing as this was the answer, I'm not just supposed to say "aww" and hang me head.
I placed meself under the belief that there might just be a programmer to say,
"I haven't found any leads, but if you do, I'm here to help".

To "paraphrase" what he said correctly, it's morseso, and here in writing,
"You're a tad irrelevant: why should anyone help you?"

That's not just how it sounds: it's right there, and I don't take light to slander :)

[mod note: double post]
Most importantly, no, I haven't reposted any content of me own will.
if anything, I've only ever suggested Bayonetta in literally one other thread about a week ago.
Have there be any reposts bc of malfunction, I apologise :)

You don't have to put yourself in my shoes;
If you noticed after several years of programming, a missing character in NoLimit roster
by lore, and you ask, hgh -- a community,
"Aight, y'all; Where this character at. It's been two decades;
ain't no one workin' on them?" and you been working on these characters for 15 years,
Strangers pull up to your server, say

"Why not do it yourself then? There's tutorial to learn to make a sprite, coding for moves and so many other things. If this is your first visit, then welcome. Don't expect it right now anytime soon. It takes time. "

You'd feel slighted, no? You'll feel the need to explain who you are to this person,
bc this has become an invested hobby for you. That's normal. That's common sense.
I'm not no drone. I'm a god. :)

I actually have an idea. Isn't there a process that can be used so that someone talented and patient enough could capture Bayonetta's frames from Smash 4 or Ultimate, and we can make a simple but competent character of her? I saw a Smash Ultimate rip Mario, that gives me hope we could do this with characters that would be tough to sprite.
Title: Re: The Final Frontier: Bayonetta.

I've spent the last 15 years updating the 165 top mainstream characters for DC, Shounen, Marvel, and ArcSys Vs. Battles Wiki to 1.0.

The earliest release candidate for mugen 1.0 came out in September 21st 2009, 12 years ago not 15 (https://web.archive.org/web/20091001052807/http://www.elecbyte.com:80/) though realistically most people didn't start converting to 1.0 until it's full release in 2011. Said optimizations you've done looks like you've slightly adjusted the localcoord along with slightly editing the default screenpack. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEH18Oyc9-g&) Other than the sincerity of MA being poorly ran I feel you're just stringing together mugen terms to sound smart for a nine month old account as well as a YT account dating to 2016.

Though to answer the question of sprites for bayonetta there's a thread to do a commission request for that in (https://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/the-spriters-bounty-thread-more-details-thread--161795.200.html) rather than mugen discussion board.

Linux released first beta in November 2001, and I've been on the project since 2006.
You shouldn't let a lack of understanding have you insult someone else's.
At the very least, we're getting somewhere.
With me having necessary answers given by MR. IBZS II, thank you very much,
perhaps there could be another programmer as I who could view this thread in a future non-immediate, and see it be
1. Useless to quote me without positive reason
2. Be in possessions of a means/Create within themselves a drive to aid the cause.

As he's stated, there's possible spriterip for many characters, and is possibly easier
with the 3DS' support of the game Smash Ultimate, especially with her being on the roster.
I mean, she's not even really a character special in terms of Vs. Battles in the science, ranking
smooth Universal+, but she's no Goku.
I've even conceived this thought sided with with the fun motif that she may be someone's M.C.
For further record, Commission does not imply money; it directly references it.

I digress.
I understand that the engine itself, regardless of the updates to 1.1 by the diligent source developers,
the new 3D implements by other developers, or even the new elements added in individual play, and
netplay established by the new developers, still has its own inconsistencies. It's in the Disclaiming text for
My teams' project! Yet, just because something has its flaws doesn't mean you hate it! Characters loop,
helper states go unchecked or worse, and I'm fairly certain unless there's been an update past IKEMEN Go,
netplay hasn't rollbacked -- development is still vastly in the air. I'm certain with the New booming sites of WebDev using
OpenBOR, and similar fighting codes to 1.0-1.1 like erh, tchp -- snaps* mans name -- 2Dee4Ever, that there are
developers looking to take the program to a new innovation. :)

Spoiler: This is a mockup the sprites will look better I promise (click to see content)

I've also decided to maximize the probability of winning COTM and even COTY by adding 3 more styles: KOF style in the vein of Soy Sauce, Reuben Kee Evil Ken/Ryu style and SF Spec Ops version with a Proton Cannon. Please publicize my efforts on your youtube I will need the views to complete this project, thanks.

Yessir! That's what I like to hear;

for the compliance to "doubleposting", oh, that is, laughable:
the whole World is on EDP445 PackWatch.
Everybody get some rest, and with the exception of anyone no rocking with the movement,
you can the BLACKLISTED WORD off my thread. :)

I deadarse.
What lines you expect me to read between? You're proving my point.
I'm not beefing with someone who's not on my level. Stay mad. :)
What lines?

People have constantly told you to stay on topic and stop stroking yourself in very nice, civil terms and yet you still go off.
You have nothing to show for your high-and-mighty self sir, except for your over bloated ego which others have pointed out also.

To me, you're nothing but an insecure, pathetic little man who uses misogynistic remarks just to paint yourself as an "alpha" on the internet.

Grow up will you?
and no, I'm not beefing with someone who's so below my level.

Oh my god that gave me such a belly laugh

Thank you for making my day lmfao
hey man can you please not laugh at my work?
TBH though thinking of adding 3 extra styles: 3-button Mr. Giang style, Jessica Smoke inspired Futanari hentai vore style, and Mortal Kombat style. Funny story with the MK style I actually found a girl and a mocap studio I can use to record and get the sprites for this one. The girl had really long legs and a huge rack so it should be at least close to Bayonetta's proportions.

I should be starting the POTS style version later tonight i'll post up a WIP screen of that.

Yessir! That's what I like to hear
Cool man glad to oblige.

Um. I know this kind of devolved to really stupid sarcasam after I legitimately tried to help with the vague memories I had...

But I would seriously like to see Stickfigure Bayo as a complete character. Not with the "modes" Devon's throwing out, but I think a pink stickfigure that does Bayo things would be a great way to tackle how complex she is while also focusing on the necessities into a much more feasible form.

This dude reminds of another user who showed up last year hailing himself the future of Mugen. He was on some quest to be the ultimate mugen God or something. There's always one every year.

can you make a Shinra358-style version with 10 different bars taking up half the screen while you're at it?
