Darn, he really needs some more transition frames in that stance. :-X

Wishful thinking from my part, but how would you consider doing a EX moveset for Ryo that behaves more like his wacky KoF days sometime in future (if there are enough sprites to achieve this ofcourse)?

I updated all of Joe's palettes to the new template (including the newer ones made for Shao's separation). If you're not satisfied with the update I've made to a palette you've made, tell me (but you'll have to fix it yourself!).

Is this stubble thing real, point me to the pal's please.

Not a huge fan of the short-ranged Ko'okens and stuff; so nah.

Maybe this will help?

I don't want to create an entirely new .air file where all the animations are edited to better transition into the KOF stance; I think the two transition frames I added to the start of the stance are good enough, and that's all the work I think needs to be put into all this. It's just an alt stance, after all!

It seems like the alt stance would be something someone could probably patch in later perhaps. Just an idea and all that.
If you were to make an EX mode in the future though I doubt that since you seem to be fine as you are. If I would suggest anything for that it would be an EX mode based more on Mr Karate Ryo. Even without such a thing the character is still great.

Though your point is completely valid, that alternate stance was way better than the one in CVS, so it may be worth the effort.

it's all done: color separated and uploaded. The version of Ryo on my site now has this animation; to select it as the stance used in-game, simply change the first animation's ("Standing") number from 0 to 2, and change the third animation ("Standing (2nd Alternate)") from 2 to 0.

Now that Ryo has 2 more standing poses that add shine to his CvS spriteset, I don't even know which one to grab...

Well, guess I gotta find some piece of code to ramdomize between all them. :rolleyes5:
