So, I just downloaded Chun-Li, and I noticed that when I use the Shadow Lady-only DEF file, her second color is the exact same as the first color.

The one on the left was selected with X, while the one on the right was selected with Y. All the other colors work properly. If I remember correctly, the Mystique color was under Y. Seems like it's missing, at least in my download.

Thank you very much for these updates to all the characters. I especially like how the BGM only stops during their Round 2 victory poses or if their death has music.

However, with this comes a minor inconsistency: The music still briefly stops if Simon KOs someone. It seems like that particular change hasn't been applied to him yet.

Edit: Also, has nothing to do with Simon, but I found a small typo in one of Thonolan's quotes: "With ever loss, there is something to learn. I hope you figure it out."

No new music this Tuesday...

This is the first time this has happened. Might be due to the Direct being later in the week, and the new music track being related to a newcomer.

I honestly don't give a damn whether or not they deconfirm this "Grinch Leak". Smash Directs are always exciting times, regardless of what leaks are floating around at the time. (Plus, we still know nothing about the green mode...)

Hmm... Some interesting developments for the infamous Grinch leak for sure.

Although I need to correct you on the Sakurai quote; It's not from an interview. Rather, it's from a column on the Japanese magazine Famitsu that he writes bi-weekly. Most of the time during the lead up to a new Smash game's release he writes about Smash, but sometimes (especially when there's no new Smash game on the horizon) he writes about other things as well.

Nice, thanks for bringing Simon to regular M.U.G.E.N. world, can't wait for Samus!

I found a small oversight, the stage BGM doesn't fully stop during his Round 2 victory pose, resulting in his victory theme overlapping with the stage BGM. Mario and Thonolan also have this issue.

Also, this is somewhat unrelated but the file for Family Fighters 3 Special on your website is password protected, is this intentional or a mistake? If intentional, how can I find the password?

One more question, when are you planning on fixing the issues I found in the other characters? (Context for other readers: I PMed KingPepe with some issues I found in other releases as to not necrobump the other posts a couple weeks ago) I'll only ask this once, since you're probably a busy guy.

That's the big problem with Smash Speculation... things just get so tribal. People can get harassed simply for not taking the popular side. Hell, there are many people who take the popular side for the sake of being on the "winning side." Like some kind of sick race for dominance...

And then there's this "Only one character or the other" mentality. This pops up a lot during arguments about third parties. since they are admittedly quite rare. People argue over whether Banjo or Steve should get in because they think there would/should only be one "Microsoft Rep." Thing is, it doesn't need to be one or the other. Chances are, they are BOTH able to join the roster. Did Mega Man destroy the chances of Ryu? Did Snake ruin Simon Belmont's chances? No, they didn't. So I can't see why both Geno and Sora, or both Steve and Banjo can't join at the same time. It's a crazy video game crossover, so embrace it!

Oh, and about the whole "Sora is owned by Disney!" argument... I have heard plenty of people say "Disney said they wouldn't mind him in Smash, so he still has a chance!" but I do need a definitive source on this before I can fully believe it. So if someone would like to find the source of this information, I and possibly many others here would very much appreciate it!

Amiibos can be used to unlock characters, eh?

That's neat, but I think I'll probably just play through that green mode (AKA "Spirits") to unlock them... assuming, of course, that characters can be unlocked in that mode in the first place.
