An enhanced version of the original JJBA All Star Battle has been announced and is set to come for all current platforms.

Worth pointing out that this will have 50 playable characters where as the original had 41, meaning characters that were featured in Eyes of Heaven may or may not show up remastered here.

Just hoping best girl in Stardust Crusaders, Mariah shows up. Maybe Leone Abbacchio can now finally be playable, who knows? Sadly Baoh's gone, if you didn't remember that Baoh was in the original game as guest character...that's fine, I forgot he was in the game too. I guess the reason why Ikuro (Baoh) was gone was because they thought no one would know who he is? I dunno, I'll let you decide the reason.

More details here and yep, no Ikuro oddly enough

Characters from Eyes of Heaven are indeed being reworked with the ASB style as one screenshot had DIO facing Trish.  Not just characters but stages from EoH are also being reworked.  One new stage from Part 6 is the Green Dolphin Street Prison Farm.

One major gameplay update is the inclusion of a Striker System much like the Ninja Storm series that CyberConnect2 made so expect crazy zoning tech.

This reminds me of a mod called "Over Heaven" made by a guy named Xemaskylr that basically does everything that this remaster does.

Hopefully it's not true that Baoh is not included because he was honestly my favorite guy in the game next Jotaro and I thought he was a cool nod to Araki's early work. Also since were getting new characters I hoping we get characters that either from Eyes Of Heaven or characters that would have made it into thw game but couldn't due to time like Foo Fighters, Leone Abbacchio, Part 6 Jotaro, and that guy with the cool skull goatee and stand Mandom.

So, a Jojo fighting game will remastered. Interesting, plus 9 new characters either from EOH or newcomers.

But I have a feeling that Baoh might be off the hook. Including for Petshop, N'Doul and Jotaro timeline forms (part 4 and 6, which btw P6 was supposed to be included in EOH, but wasn't due time consuming.)

I'm looking forward for this and PS3 version will be dead by the time, this game will be released soon.

Which characters were new in EOH ? Diego I think, who else ?

Speedwagon, Stroheim, Mariah, N'Doul, Pet Shop, Yukako, Trish, Weather, Diego and Joshu.

Not holding my breath for N'Doul due to the way he works, and I'd rather not have Pet Shop as well. So that'd leave us with eight characters ported from EoH.

Wikipedia names multiple versions too, like Diego / Scary Monsters and Diego / The World. But I'm not sure about having the latter on top of both DIO and multiple Jotaros.
I'll love to get Speedwagon, Mariah, Scary Monsters, Weather, Trish and Yukako. Maybe even Joshu.
And I'll also love going back to Jonathan, Dio (p1) and Gyro, my favs from the original.

it's not limited to just EoH characters either, though, since one screen shown in the trailer accidently shows that Prosciutto is also playable in the game

I didn't expect much from a Collection game, but the pre-order stuff is just some artwork and music. Also, the pre-ordering this game from Steam in Brazil costs more than buying KoF XV, what the fuck are they thinking with that price for this glorified emulator?

Training Mode is the main draw imo- still overpriced, but that is AAA gaming for you.

I wanted to buy the game to show support for the franchises, maybe that would convince Capcom that they're good enough to get more games, but no way in hell I'm gonna spend all that.
