Title: Aumio Khan's Palette Thread: Still Failed To Return

Hi, guys. Welcome to my Palette Thread. Though here is no request opened, as I no have time to doing much and I want to do what I like. I will show my works what I can do for you all. I hope you will like them. Thanks.

The non CSP pals which I made are maybe usable for any author's SNK characters. For example: Krizalid Form-2. I did pals for Krizalid by God_Ryu but later I found them usable for Krizalid by Naikoro too. Same thing happening for SF3 Necro, Ibuki, Makoto, Elena which usable for sevral authors' version. So you should try the non CS pals for the SNK/SF3/other characters you are using.

Thanks for the feedback. This pal is not after any other characters like Hulk or, Shao Kahn. I named the pals 'Holly'. This pals refer that 'Blanka got wet with liquid colors'. Do you know the 'Holly' festival of Hindu? During that festival Hindu people enjoy themselves by throwing colors (made of powder or, liquid) to each other. I am sure YugaCurry knows it as he is Indian. That's All.

I didn't read that correctly my mistake. I have a Vanessa you can use if you'd like to make some pals. If you guys ever decide to do more snk to cvs pals on other members of the cast, I've pretty much done 3/4 of those characters. (converted to six with cfj fx etc)

I didn't read that correctly my mistake. I have a Vanessa you can use if you'd like to make some pals. If you guys ever decide to do more snk to cvs pals on other members of the cast, I've pretty much done 3/4 of those characters. (converted to six with cfj fx etc)

Yes axel def needed this, those sprites upscaled hurt the eyes a bit. The third color though the pants should be black thats the iconic sor3 costume. Much like the adam pal(black & yellow) You can use those same colors.

I will make cvs pals for all fibo's mx Sf3 characters. I know everyone like Trololo (for Hugo), Lost Avenger (for Elena), Mr.Diffiy (for Remy, Necro, Oro), Farengeit (for Ibuki), Demon's Eye (for Makoto) are using the mx sff of Fibo. and I do pals for S-Adel by bey for sure. :)

Thanks for support bro. :P Actually the main reason of not opening 'Open Request' is I am not a permanent Internet user like other. I no have much data in my modem. and I have too less handcost money. I stopped Facebooking for this reason. College life recently started. So maybe I can't keep the promise of requested palettes. :(

Your CvS palettes are missing the midtone colors, and that's a HUGE NO-NO. If you plan on making somewhat accurate CvS palettes, they must be 4 colors for parts like the gi (karate costume), 3 for parts like the hair, and 5 for parts like the skin.

And to do what you saying I need CS patch for Hugo and other SF3 chars and SNK chars. Without CVS, there is no option to do what you say. There are some colors which is used both cloths (pants, tank). So I about to change the color of pant, the tank was colored too. Same thing happen when I about to color the tank. And the rules of the number of colors for hair, gi, skin is not a big deal, if the difference looks normally simple good. Thanks for the feedback anyway.

I'm gonna be blunt about this and say the thing you've been calling "cvs palettes" is really just making a midtone the same color as another tone and as has been said, resulting in definition loss on the sprite, not to mention people have been doing this for over a decade. Nothing necessarily wrong in doing that, but calling it CVS is a bit of a stretch.

I am not saying this to discourage you, because despite that I have seen some nice palettes in this thread, but im just saying what you're doing with these "cvs palettes" isn't enough to give it that title.

Thanks for comment. I am not getting you wrong. The things you say about my method to do something like cvs pals is really true. But to do those pals with that method, I had to invest my brain, time, thoughts and skill. And the result are these pals released here. I see others doing pals with default structure to have fun with mugen. I want to do pals with a bit different structure to make it different to have fun with mugen and Some people loving it, some maybe not. That's what I love. Everything here (character, stage, other) are not 100% accurate but mugen is a matter of hobby and free fun. I am calling it CVS pals as I like to call them CVS (though those are not 100% accurate too as well).

I also must do CPS3-ish pals or, SNK-ish too in future but the main business is CVS,

To me Waste no.440 is like....Shin Shishioh with a purpose. I wish he were CvS type that's how good he is XD! I even did a special palette for him too to be Shin Shishioh.

Yeah a Strider palette would be cool, I mean the Strider with the color separation.
The SF3 chars with the palettes of cvs looks good but some needs a little more work with the colors, like Ibuki in the skin, or Elena in general don't looks like cvs.

You should add the DL. Though I already downloaded it myself.

Yes, I don't have a lot chars or, issue in my drives. But I have every Pots style or, customized creation though. Actually I can't open any sff of chazzanova or, R@CE Akira with my FF classic. They using higher SFF files. And my computer is no down that I can't use even FF3. But If you really want to learn my palettes making style, learn it from my released samples. ;) It's just putting same color in different slots And yes, need a good sense and the most important thing to making CVS pals of SNK characters is CS patch. Though I mostly done all pals without CS patch.
I really feeling a need of Shen by Jin CS patch.

I forgot to say that and yes, I made Pals for Gillius by Bihno not A$AP Buckus.

The non CSP pals which I made are maybe usable for any author's SNK characters. For example: Krizalid Form-2. I did pals for Krizalid by God_Ryu but later I found them usable for Krizalid by Naikoro too. Same thing happening for SF3 Necro, Ibuki, Makoto, Elena which usable for sevral authors' version. So you should try the non CS pals for the SNK characters you are using.

But I give priority in CS patches for my works. Actually making CVS pals of SNK characters is the easiest alternate way (not 100% or, same to same) of making a whole sprite-sheet or, waiting for months after months (even years after years). But it must need a good CS patch for a SNK character to make a complete (at least pre-complete) CVS-ish stracture via pals. Using normal sprites....... CS-ing it..... And then making CVS palettes...... Easiest than ever.......

With your mugen soft, apply default(or, which you like) pals on the characters' SFF and save CVS Pal applied SFFs as PCX images to get completely new converted sprites. Then spriters, you can save your time by acomplishing those PCXs to make them for CVS conversion.

It may not be a "100%" accurate cvs-esc look, but imo its a hell of a lot better seeing this in comparison to the original next to other cvs characters. I see some improvements & I know you are basically doing what you can with what you've got so I do appreciate it. When doing these types of things I suggest always having a character to reference. Some characters skin or certain parts in general are way too vibrant & unrealistic looking(not that it should be, but not super pastey either. Sie for example). As I said though I def do see some improvements with this Kriz,hopefully will inspire you to improve & make more of these gradually being better quality over time. Goodluck

but thanks for the feedback. I will fix vibrant colors and others for sure. And every next release will have at least 12 pal and will do more for previous chars like Honako, Kasumi etc. Also inspiring you to do more SNK stars in cvs with WIPs and Edits. Better is via WIP though. I will do pals for your SNK chars (especially Kmagai, Asura, amasuka etc) for sure and more like Cybrog by Victorys, Kung Fu Girl by DW and samurai showdown and other SNKs after my stable return. Thanks.

Let me know when you are ready to get back at it. These actually go well with CRT. Just need to keep as much definition as possible.

A good magic trick indeed *cough* since no one will be making sets for these characters anytime soon.

Hey, I have a new way of doing this through CS. Or even if you don't CS it's still possible without losing any details and less effort. You were right on the money when you had originally started this. An alternative for lacking actual sprites. This method can also be used to create said sprites as well. yap. I alawys find the cs patch before making cvs pals. but when I cant manage to find it, I make pal without cs. also the benefit is, with a cs patch I can do the right work which I really wanted to do. as a example, shiosh. nameless etc I made good pals. but without cs I cant make good pals for magaki. sometime it differs........ such as orochi. I made good pals for orochi without cs. I am learning how to make cs right now bro. I want make cvs sprites for snk and sf3 after that in sthe same way what marabcv and falcon rapper doing.

I have lack of pc right now. so I cant do that dude. you can get help from others. who downloaded those before.

hi there. it pleasure to me you liked my palette.
but I have also to discuss with you and kibaNaruto22 something. you and then kibaNaruto22 edited chuchoryu's cvs orochi really cool. also kibaNaruto22 made a nice cvs mizuchi too. so I have a suggest to you. do you and kibaNaruto22 like to use my palette swap to your orochi and his mizuchi edition? its just fill the sff with cvs pal swap sprites with a light edit to do in the sff only, if you interested.

Dude this is a small mugen world. lol I still have some on my old laptop, when you started posting your video. I was like, wow this guy is on fire. Then you established yourself, over at N.A.M. I said, don't I know this person. lol Then scrolling over your older pages here. I noticed your pallets, I said yes you completed an awesome pal set for me. Hit me up at new age, one the ones you're looking for. I might have them; it's been a minute doe. lol

Thanks. But sad thing is all these palette were uploaded on my old 4shared account which got  automatically deactivated or deleted.
