You talk about right and wrong, but don't say where it comes from. Is it god? Is it human law?

You either accept other people's point of view, or not. You either think you are right and the others are wrong, or not.

I personally think it is OK to impose some things (i.e. Human Rights; female mutilation in some cultures is wrong and should be stopped IMHO, even though it's proper culturally; still, some other things should not be messed with), but not based on the notion that these are natural or supernatural, but socially developed. Other stuff, I think is not right. Religion should definetly not mess around these areas, IMO, lest we are giving future grounds to intolerance.

FYI those two ideas were pretty much the basis for the 3rd Reich morals, which lead to some of the most terrible crimes mankind ever made. Social darwinism = yuck (IMHO). But, of course, everyone's entitled to an opinion (at least, that's what I think; notice how many postures don't give this as a possible scenario).

I think the moral ideas of a given society should be democratically defined, not in an atemporal non-cultural considerance. Of course, that in itself is an idea that comes from my own morality, so I guess I am an 'enforcer of tolerance and plurality'.

Personally, I think that the only limits to freedom of speech should be the vindication of illegal acts, and the encouragement of them. Any other thing can lead to China or France's actual policies regarding internet restrictions, and from that to political/religious censorship is just a step away.

Do you even understand what morality and ethics are? They CAN'T die, you just can't see them (saying that 'the only rules are those of techology' IS a morality AND implies a set of ethics). And thinking that morality is a science is quite a medieval approach, which fortunately has been dropped by most reasonable people since the arrival of Descartes, Hume, Kant, Hegel, Marx, etc.

If you wanna know my position on this, I'm a 100% supporter of human rights applied to any context, but still conceiving them as a human construction.

And doing a little bit of editing and image searching will kill you? Why not keep polishing this and going from average to great instead of making another release? ???

Cybaster's Castlevanilla stage was also made from a single image, and he managed to pull it off. Don't rush your art.

Take your time to make a "darker" sprite of the "lighter" portion of the stage, then make it visible for an instant and remove it, and voilà.

Maybe having the lights flicker? And some newspaper fly around?

Taking that bench/trashcan, enlarging it a bit, and adding as a front layer might go a long way to add to the 3D feel. Maybe even adding a (transparent) front layer subway going in the opposite direction?

I was showing Tony 3rd that his comparison of MUGEN to apartheid was moot, because if you don't discriminate (at least a bit) between junk and gold, things DO get messy, and eventually everyone can call 'apartheid' on your dumping of their idea engineering topic. :P
Discrimination, IMHO, is good, if done with proper requirements under a democrac... meh. Already comparing MUGEN to RL. This place is getting to me!
