What's the name of your files versus the name used in your def file?
As for the hitboxes not working, I'm unsure. You'd need to elaborate some more. Is the hitdef's trigger being used appropriately?

That's a lot of reading so I won't act like this solves anything, but if it helps my Natsu uses a Happy that works like another character, but I had it set up so you controlled it by command. If not that, my Naruto works as an AI, but is a clone in the same way except that when it gets hit it disappears. Just combine the 2 and it's almost what you mentioned I think?
Is this for a fullgame? If it is, the throws and custom states should be a cinch.

Everyone to an extent deserves to win and no one "needs it".

Alena has a infinite corner block string using her C.MP - QCF.MK (JUUSATSU - Double Play)

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm..... Will also look into. I've actually known about it, just not sure of a workaround because of, yeah, angleset.
Looked into it and the clsn IS on the opponent the way it should be. I'd forgotten I'd already taken care of that "problem". It was just the repositioning for when the very tip of the corner of the clsn was hit because of angleset. Nothing I can do here. I'm honestly not even sure how he hit Balrog from that position. I tried it multiple times and couldn't replicate it.



And also, wooh! I'll put it on the front page of her original thread and also on here and just about anywhere else I can put it when I get the chance :P

Only things I see now are the bent arm and her breasts, but Xenomic's on top of it already. You got the side view perfectly in the "after" now.

I am getting so giddy about this, yo. Great work again. The crouching crotch thing. It looks unbelievably better. Really like the decently paced progress. Asura and Ryu look great, too. Especially Asura.

As for Tifa's jumping sprites. The ones you finished lack a hair movement it looks like. Maybe it's just me. The other thing is her entire body. Her legs seem kinda weird to me. Like they're too short or something. And the way it transitions into her hips seems weird too. I think it's the angle. It's like she's facing us more than her opponent. It should be more of a side view. So yeah, her legs are a bit too short, her angle needs to face the opponent more and her legs also look like they're still on the ground. They need to stretch out more like she's really reaching for something.

A var. It increases as long as you hold down the command button (a, b, or c? whatever button doesn't matter). Whenever that var increases past a certain number, have it spawn that helper according to that var once the button you're holding down is released and you change states to the state where you us the helper.
So say you held the a button down and your var, var(0), became 100.
trigger1 = var(0)>=100
thats level 1. level 2 could be var(0)>=200. in which case it would then need to be coded like this.
levle 1 helper trigger would become
trigger1 = var(0)=[100,199]
and level 2 helper trigger would be
trigger1 = var(0)>=200

Try it out. See what you can figure out and what you can't.

So I noticed something when messing around with some WIP's and discovered that the jugglecounter never actually disabled when you ran out of jugglepoints for whatever reason. Must've been through the addition of choosing a fighting style that I broke something so there'll probably be some glitches here and there that you may never even notice, but I'll be fixing things periodically down the road should I find anything. For now I updated them so at least juggling is disabled when it should be and vice versa. The most important part.

Do you have another changestate interfering with it? Or another command named the same as "a+b"?
If not that then I doubt this but...keyboard limitations? It's just two buttons though so I'm gonna assume thats ruled out.

The barrage of attacks that flashes the screen red when you defeat your opponent. I believe it's d>f+a. It either misses or doesn't hit enough because I can easily block it while being hit.

Edit:
-Jumping looks really choppy and jittery. Remove the changeanims for anims 44, 45 and 46 and just use 41, 42 and 43. Then remove the last two frames in anim 40 and the first frame only in anim 41, 42 and 43. After removing those first frames, change the new first frame's time for anims 41, 42 and 43 from 4 to 15. Then remove the first 2 frames from anim 47 It transitions way more smoothly.
-I can spam moves before they've hit the opponent. It looks really funny, but it's kinda problematic and creates infinites everywhere :D
-The apple tossing can be done forever and destroys the opponent. Maybe put a limit on it or have it cost power?
-The special where you beat the shit outta them misses on a lot of the attacks.
-When you get hit in mid-air it sounds like his crotch is being sawed off with a worn out sword without ridged edges while being dipped in boiling hot oil.....in other words it's very over-dramatic.

The fucking apple special.... :buttrox:
I like eht. I'll be keeping this one to knock around a bit in fights.

Not sure buying a PS4 and the game just to rip some voices for 1 character is worth it.
I'm gonna put my hopes into a PC release. If not my Angel is gonna be a mute or have undergone voice surgery....that's a thing right?

Updated. I don't remember most of what I did to Mai and Alena, but they were updated too with Birdie.
Hopefully everything saved properly and this can be the last update for a long while.
