Add a buffering system to it. That pretty much eliminates everything the default AI does.

Feedback:
  • The High Jump mechanic seems to be rather difficult to perform than usual, is that proposital?
  • When jumping, sometimes he ends up doing a LK automatically.
It should actually be easier. What do you use for controls?

Also, fixed the second one, I screwed up an AI trigger. I also realized I forgot to include a movelist! I'll do all shortly.

EDIT: OK he's been updated to fix that issue and include a movelist!

If it were possible, believe me, I would’ve done it, but with a helper limit of 56, his effects would hit the limit pretty fast, especially with parrying.

... may be why.

You're probably destroying the helper too early before anything can be detected. What you should do is destroyself only when AnimTime = 0, or when P1 has entered the proper state number. You can change the helper to another state on MoveContact (the other triggers are redundant, btw) to assist in this detection, and then destroy the helper when P1 has entered the "disappeared" state.

Not necessarily. The buffering update alone would not affect AI behavior. Only things such as move property changes would.

Besides, I’m sure he still knows how to update anything in AI that looks suspect.

Oh right, one more thing, guys:

Hope you implemented AI in your updated characters, otherwise they're going to stand there and do nothing due to how buffering works. That's just how the cookie crumbles. You absolutely must implement AI if you use this buffering system.
