I'm pretty sure that Shang Tsung's Throne Room in the MK2 NES game looked a lot different than that.
It should look a lot like this:

Well I've tried handling this situation over at CVG it's self but I keep getting met with warnings and dumped topics. CVG evidently doesn't like to having attention being brought to issues that could harm their releases. Anyway, as many before me have pointed out, four of these stages contain some of my work. All taken without permission and all without some form of credit. However, even if credit were applied it should be noted that the effects I make are absolutely closed source. They are not to be used by anyone for any particular reason. The main main reason being that I actually make my effects and that time and effort is actually put into them. I don't make a image of white clouds, apply an alpha, then throw in a tile with some velocities. I don't use particle illusion (unless it's something I can't do on my own... namely fire). I also certainly don't take my effects from anyone else and repackage them. So instead of going the route I did earlier at CVG and politely explaining that I actually take a great deal of care when it comes to making my own effects I'll just say this. All of you stage makers out there: Learn how to make effects of your own, put effort into your stages, and for the love of God don't be like one of these idiots who take the easy way out and just try and steal their way through a release. The only way you're going to get better is by doing.

A little bird tells me that a certain group of now "PRIVATE" stage makers who like to put graffiti on all their bg's for sum reason might of hacked it.
You're kidding right? It's one thing to think it's someone but to make outright accusations is another. I know of a kid that had a leak of SyN's old SP and tried to trade it to him for the newer version before release. He's also known for making "hacking" threats if people refuse to trade with him. See, I can play the blame game too, Metroker. GTFO noob. Also, your little bird can go fuck it's self too.

GLB's ExShadow experiment

A huge -1 for Ex. Just because people admin or mod on your forum doesn't mean you should try and nominate them at other sites, GLB. The whole, "Well he's my friend and I'm going to +1 him until the end of time!" mindset isn't what the democracy thread is about. It's about nominating people who make a sizable contribution in some form to the community. ExShadow is a stage creator and has been nominated for and received that title. However, I don't think he's displayed that he would be ready or able to hold down the Global Mod position at a forum of this scale.

I'm not the first nor am I the last person to give feedback without being all warm and fuzzy. Making me a special case for no other reason than "just because" is a little ridiculous. While my feedback wasn't all rainbows and gumdrops, it was still feedback. Granted I gave nicer and more detailed feedback at IMT where he also dismissed the feedback. The stage is a coding and aesthetic nightmare. Also, yes, his work has gotten sloppy since he started his own forum but I never implied that it was any better when he was hanging around me and other people I am associated with. All I said is that his work has taken a significant nosedive. He can do better but as long as everyone is telling him, "OMG NICE STAGE!" and pointing out one minor detail he isn't going to improve. I hold everyone to the same standard and if something is wrong, and if I see anything that is wrong I tell them. I can't tell you the number of times I've given MOTVN, NoZ, Dissidia, Tamez, and others even more jarring feedback. Is it nice? No. Does it end up giving better results? Yes. If it didn't have problems in the first place then I wouldn't be giving feedback, now would I?

Hmm.. those firework effects look nice, can I borrow them?
LMAO you're kidding, right? Either way, no need to ask permission to use .gif files he found doing a basic search.

As for the stage, it's the most awkward looking mix of random crap slapped together that I have ever seen. Nothing matches, dithered to hell and back due to poor jigsawing, poor coding, stilted animation, and clearly not your fireworks. Ever since you went the whole "Newage M.U.G.E.N" route your work has been getting worse every release. Maybe it's the sugar coated feedback that's making you slip.

he alredy had released this here,so theres no need to actually make this topic :omg:
Hes letting us know that it is hosted somewhere I believe so hes fine.
Not really, all he's doing is basically posting a duplicate topic of a stage that has already been released on this forum. Posting in the original topic would have been the best course of action.

Well Noz I made a site so we are rehosting this stage into my site odd but true
Doesn't matter if you made a site or if hosting changed hands, you should have posted in the original topic. Imagine all the new threads put up by MOTVN if he remade a thread for every stage of his once he changed hosting or sites.

I would have to vote a definite no on that one. It would be nice if kids would start going the quality over quantity route instead of slapping something together. Basically something that resembles a 5% done character with a plethora of problems that Cybaster would need a whole forum just to pick apart hardly seems like grounds for contributor status. That would be like giving ARCoolGuy contributor status. I think I just made myself sick... I'm gonna lie down now. -1

like i said before, the master  :suttrox:
You might want to brush up on meaning of the word "master"

Everything from incorrect bounds to lack of floor tension and other coding mishaps that even most novice stage coders don't blunder, plague this release. The hard edge around the buildings and glow make them stick out way too much and just give the impression that they were cut badly. The moon... what happened to the moon? The lack of balance between color and lighting hits like a slap in the face. If you were going for a certain type of style, your aim was fairly off. Nothing about this stage meshes well and overall feels like it's lacking in a lot of areas. At this point it looks, plays, and feels like a prettied up Azamix stage.

point one : proper feedback and criticism are not things that people should avoid for fear of whoever.
point two: just because someone doesnt agree with you, to get all emo and cry out how you are being hated is terribly whiny and overreactive, chances are they dont even care about you enough to sustain any ill feelings that will last more than ten seconds.
point three: stop trying to have every chance of a drop of an hat to get into fights
point four: learn to let others save some face now and then.
point five: stop spamming y'all or im setting shamrock on you.
I see shamrock after almost every post I make. That would be nothing new.

No. FYI, you don't know him. I have firelord added in my MSN. Just asked him. Unless of course you met him having a different account at a different forum or whatever.

And sarcasm?! Sure as hell didn't sound like it. When you type something, the tone can easily be misinterpreted. I'd know, because this is one of the things that got me kicked out of a hl1 mod team. This is why you should be careful with what you type in the future. At least a sarcastic use of smileys would've been more convincing perhaps.

Didn't mean to avoid it, but I kinda did. But I respect firelord, he helped me out with shin lvl 2 akuma's spriting a lot, along with julius. So I guess I didn't like the way you adressed him.

Anyway, I've talked to firelord and he'll make it bigger.

Now stop this shit.

P.S: I would've replied sooner, but this fucking router is going on and off for god knows what reason.
I guess since I don't like the way you're addressing MOTVN I should be all up in your shit too, huh? All this retarded bullshit aside, the stage isn't same as what is in the video which can leave people feeling like they  got an inferior build. End of story.

@firelord
Avoid scaling in the future. It does some nasty things to some characters. If you need a detailed explanation just check around and you'll immediately see why.

I would be more inclined to +1 him if his main area of expertise wasn't mostly compilations and edits. He also has a problem with asking permission from authors before using their work. I've actually been on the receiving end of it once already, and it took quite a bit of time and effort to get the situation rectified. Would be nice to see something on his part that wasn't just a modified Ziltama SP before seeing him bumped up to contributor.
