Petition don't really work.

You need to reach out on the japan executives, your best shot is twitter and makes sure that it would went viral and influencer would talked about it, that's the best thing you can do. Yet take a look at MVC2 and Darkstalker movement they never went anywhere.

Well, the MVC2 movement would take a lot of time to go anywhere. FreeMvC2 wasn't around for long enough to warrant the talks and licensing meetings required to even solidify that the game would be getting a re-release.

But yeah, petitions really don't work for anything ever... still, crazier things have happened.

those crazier things still didn't involve fucking Change.org petitions, though
so no, this stupid petition will do absolutely nothing except make anyone involved look like fools for believing in fucking Change.org petitions in the first place

A bit harsh don't you think? Just because you have no hope left in Change.org doesn't mean you should undermine people who still believe in its purpose.

Yeah, I still hope one day they would released the new MVC2 with new palette swap characters and updated moves using alpha like style sprites from CVS and CFJ

I'll sign it, though that probably will never work. I already did with petition to Sega to bring Dural back as a playable character in Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown. I'm still fighting on that and the game will still have DLC somewhere this year, but still no Dural.

Well, Dural is a boss character, so that might make making them playable difficult, especially since the game's more of an online/eSports focused game.

You're wrong. Dural has always appeared in every VF and is playable in other VF games due a code or unlockable. I don't care if this is online or not, at least they can make a offline in vs and training. Difficult to make... While you just wait for a steam release, then mod it. You're just saying that you aren't a developer. Well, do some study and make a DLC character, a Shenmue or Yakuza character will be nice.

If they don't do it, then I don't buy Ultimate Showdown, the game was shit anyway.

No way in fuck is that happening ever lol

I’m sorry. That’s too unrealistic. It’s awesome but, not happening.

  • Build it, shape it, by my will.
You look sus.  Will my signature be owned by Capcom as part of their ongoing eSports briefing?

Inquiring minds must know.

thats the best thing they could do, reused alpha styled sprites that already exist in CVS and in alpha3 that weren't yet used in 2D Mahvel games to atleast have them new moves or etc. because they dont have in house 2d sprite artist anymore.

they need specific video title like Capcom Fighting Allstar something to return. influencer like jwong and max talking how much it would be great and benefit the community

At last, a video montage to go along with it.

Nothing too fancy, just a compilation of most of the details, and recent events that are somehow related to this game:

Uh, the MaximilianDood part shows that there's still someone at Capcom booting up the game and taking pictures and posting them on Twitter for shit and giggles as late as the SF5 Luke reveal.
Still think there's zero chance of this ever coming out, but that's super weird of them. Maybe there's still people there being very salty about it after all.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.

I just wonder why didn't they ever try a pure Capcom crossover after that. Like, you'd think doing that would save them the problems of being forced to work with Marvel, and would give them more freedom, but the only all-Capcom crossover we got was Evolution.

Might be with the unknown SNK character that was supposed to be a guest character?

The silhouette looks like K'Dash but they say it's Kyo Kusanagi

And now there's a short version of the video as well;

Gotta do the proper offerings to the YouTube's algorithm deities.

Yeah... that's the one thing that actually kinda get on my nerves; and one of the core reasons for going with this in the first place.

Aside from Nintendo, Shonen Jump and (if we stretch just a little bit) Nickelodeon, very few other companies seem to think that a fighting game promoting their own franchises and overall image is something profitable. We mostly only get oneshots like with SNK, Sony, Cartoon Network, and Capcom I suppose...

I guess Capcom perhaps just don't realize that they can do something in the scale of MvC on their own, nowadays? Anyway, we can only do wacky theories about it, since the communication is scarce.
