I'm happy to see some updates coming, but I noticed that Chun-Li still has the same issue with her level 3 super. I figured out this problem only happens on stages without high jump.
Here's a video showcasing this. I think if you're going to code a cinematic super like this, you should have it so the final kick always happens on screen. The super background appearing at this point should help keep it from looking awkward.
- The SHADES of Manhattan trilogy (more so 2 and 3, 1 is pretty dated) - Capcom vs. The World (this one is incomplete at this time but still perfectly playable) - Last Bout: Styles Will Clash
Re: Character of the Month: December 2022 Nominations
I make a point to not post anywhere when I'm feeling strong negative feelings. I almost always regret what I say, and at worst make a complete ass of myself.
Also, you really shouldn't feel the need to go to bat for someone like that. Sorry if I'm a bit harsh here, but if the response their past actions received bothers them so much, it shouldn't be your problem. Maybe they oughta try growing up and learning to be respectful of others, especially over something that really has no bearing on their personal life.

I don't do this often, but I'll give my impressions as I've previously talked about Sonic a fair bit on here.
Here's the latest trailer to kick things off:
I've been following SSF1991's and other people's coverage on Twitter since we started getting gameplay footage back in June and so far I think there's a good amount of promise here. Most of my excitement is for the open zones and the moveset Sonic is shaping up to have when in them.
Another cool thing worth mentioning is what appears to be settings to customize how Sonic controls, such as his top speed and turning sensitivity. This might just be something left in the demo, but if it carries over to the final game it's gonna be an awesome accessibility feature.
I'm pretty iffy on the Cyberspace levels so far, as they're looking to be mostly abridged recreations of existing level layouts from previous games in the series. Though one clip showed what more closely resembled a moment from SA2's City Escape, so if they're remaking stuff from non-boost games that could be neat.
Overall, the impressions from people who have played the game at events has been positive, with Sonic's controls being described as smooth and snappy. I feel pretty optimistic overall myself, there's definitely more to this than Forces and, best of all, no Classic Sonic in sight!
Also those little stone creatures are pretty cute. ^^
To be honest, I haven't worked with Ikemen Go yet. I mainly make my stages for Mugen 1.0 and 1.1, and I'm sorry to say that as of now I'm unsure when I want to make the jump to Ikemen.
Thank you for the kind words everyone! And I'm late in saying this, but it's great to see you back Ryon!
Also I updated the link with a quick fix, I accidently put the 1.0 version's def file into the 1.1 version's folder, and vice-versa. I was puzzled when you mentioned a lack of zoom Phantom, turns out I had mixed things up. ^^'
