Yes, pretty much this!! The Switch can handle the engine the game runs on. Although, I still wish Rugal could come soon because we need some Genocide Cuttahs in this new fray. There's still hope. The Orochi New Face team, like lui said, may be the same characters but look but the Orochi forms are the version where they show their true colors, as pure evil, relentless, and unforgiving folks who want to gather energy using KOF to awaken Orochi. Normals may be the same but specials and supers gain an overhaul between normal and Orochi forms.

Yo that stage looks dope af and I love the KOF2002UM Omega Rugal homage in there! I've been waiting for such a stage like this for quite some time! You nailed it as always, an early Xmas gift though it took me till now to notice it.

Damn so many Avatar and TMNT characters listed and yet they couldn't get it done in time. They should've at least announced a much later release and work on the game some more. I think maybe a Spring 2022 would've worked that way some of those potential characters could've been in.

I have said this to my friend, Smash Ultimate is the Smash game to end all Smash games. This is pretty evident that there will be no more DLC stuff coming for Ultimate. The game is basically fully complete, more like beyond complete because I wasn't even expecting DLC to even come after getting every single fighter who has ever been in a Smash game period.

I strongly doubt there'll be another Smash title after this, it's named Ultimate internationally for a reason. There is literally no way, no how the next Smash game will be on par with Ultimate. And if there was another Smash game in the works, I hope Sakurai isn't involved because he's done beyond enough for the fans of the series. He and his team deserve to rest.

Right now I only see either Crash, a Gen 8 Pokemon or any other first party character may come close this game for good. Sora I can care less about because I never played the games and yeah he has potential but I'm not that crazy for him for Smash. There's gonna be hell breaking loose if they try to end this DLC lineup with yet another swordfighter. Tbh, someone else that isn't using swords should have a chance. Either way, I'm still gonna fork that final 5.99 over just so I can have the soon to be fully complete Smash roster. I doubt it very very much there's gonna be another Smash game after Ultimate because there is absolutely no way the next title will top this one.

Curious of how will Sakurai give Smash Ultimate a proper sendoff. Like LJK said, the Mii Fighter costumes are probably those who didn't make it. Too bad the bottom portion of the select screen won't be filled to the max but hey, they can only go so far with this game and this is the limit for them.

I missed out on a lot of stuff to say on but I find it weird Ash seems so stiff now. And Kukri... he looks less intimidating now since we saw his face. I always found those who never showed their face to viewers intimidating. I don't know, it's just a feeling. Anyway, Still hoping to see Rugal and Igniz joining. If Igniz really is revived, would he resurrect NESTS?

Watched the trailer and this game looks VERY VERY promising so I'll give it a shot when I get it for the Switch in the Fall. I probably might main Helga and Reptar.
As for potential reps, I'm pretty sure Avatar: The Last Airbender will have a rep or 2 as fighters due to the stage being shown. The fighters picked here I definitely love the variety between old and new. Seeing Helga take on Danny Phantom or Reptar fighting Ninja Turtles. I'll flip my shit if they throw Squidward or Angelica in her All Grown Up! version. I hope to see some Rocket Power reps in there and maybe Eliza Thornberry since her pops is here as well as Arnold. Hope they bring another trailer showcasing a few more fighters soon. Again, this game looks promising.

Angel maybe? Also... I flipped out when I saw that MS stage. MS has been my favorite SNK series ever since I bought the anthology for the Wii. If they do ever bring a Metal Slug team for the game, I'd say Marco (The face of MS), Tarma (He's been in the original MS), and Fio (She was a secret fighter in one of the KOF games). I wouldn't be surprised if Mars People was considered since that alien was a fighter for 2 games (SvC: Chaos & NGBC)

I forgot what I did but my entire browser is in Dark mode. I love it that way so it won't strain my eyes, especially when my laptop's the only thing on in my room at night.

Yo, I just looked at this and boy I'm loving these!! I really wanna to go with this style for the custom ports for the VSD fullgame project. I'm eyeing that Jin so hard because I can imagine.
