use the arcade version. i don't even know if double impact is emulated for the dreamcast. if you are new to making stages i wouldnt recommend starting with cps3 games

Well, can you at least tell me why? Like is there something specific about stages like these that newcomers tend to screw up? I've made some basic stages already (you know just take any bitmap and edit stage 0 to it) so maybe if there's some area in particular I should practice at with those before I attempt these? I'd really appreciate it. I really want to make these stages. And i'll take your advice about the arcade version.

Hi, I wanted to try making the last few stages from Street Fighter 3 New Generation and 2nd impact which I believe are the following:

From Street Fighter III New Generation:

Dudley Rainy and Sunny London stage




Necro train stage


Oro cave stage (this isn't the green one from second impact)



2nd Impact:
Elena africa bridge stage Night Time


Now I have Street Fighter 3 Double Impact game for the Dreamcast with me if I need that which includes both games. So can anyone help me out?

In my eyes, you didn't actually do anything wrong, just something unnecessary. I don't really see the need of a thread that shows where to get just a certain type of character. At least not here anyways. Again, this type of thread is better off in IMT's Show and Tell thread... minus the warehouse link. Granted, I'm not saying post this there, I'm just going by principle.

Also, Guilty is right in saying that if someone really wanted to find Marvel characters, then that's what the request section is for.

Although not all of IMT characters suck. Some of them are... decent.

a. I disagree that the SD characters suck. I think they are pretty good. Besides people can make up their own minds when they try them out.

b. ok, but it still has several other characters the other two sites don't have.

c. True, and yet this topic could prevent a lot of the clutter that board gets sometimes. No need to post a request for a marvel character since they'll all be here in this topic.

Of course there are new people who aren't too familiar with the other sites, but it's not really necessary to go "Here's the Mugen characters thread" and then link to a few other websites.
 

I don't quite understand. If people just want Marvel Characters I figured it'd be best to just lump all of these websites and their creations into one topic. It just makes life easier and saves time.

I've done a search and have only found topics devoted only to one or two characters from marvel. Well I want to make this THE Marvel Character topic. I hope this will be useful for those who wish to make a Marvel Mugen game since they will be able to find where they can get much of the characters in this one topic.

However if another topic like this has been made go ahead and post a link to it and I'll just close this one.

So lets get started. There are the two main websites that have some of the best Marvel Mugen characters which I'm sure most of you are familiar with. They are:

Infinity Mugen Team, which has all of the MVC2 Marvel characters (and Capcom too)--Cyclops, Psylocke, Cable, Rogue, Storm, Hulk, Wolverine, Spiderman, Captain America, Colossus, Iceman, Ironman, War Machine, Magneto, Juggernaut, Gambit, Dr Doom, Marrow, Omega Red, Sabretooth, Sentinel, Silver Samurai, Spiral, Blackheart, Shuma Gorath(oddest choice ever IMHO), Venom, Thanos, and Abyss--and they also have originals: Banshee, Beast, Blackcat, Captain Marvel, Galactus, Green Goblin, HobGoblin, Hulk 2099, Human Torch, Isaiah Bradley, Miss Marvel, Mr Fantastic, Punisher, Rhino, Sentry, Silver Surfer, Onslaught, The Thing, and Wonderman.

You can get all of these here at http://www.infinitymugenteam.com/, just check both the MvC2 Characters and their MvC Eternity of heroes pages for all of these.

The next big one is at http://www.scruffydragon.com who probably have THE best original Marvel Mugen Characters IMO. So just check their Marvel Characters page where they have: Thor, Carnage, Crystal, Sandman(love this guy the best) Ghost Rider, Bishop, Vulture, and Electro. They also have versions of Spiderman, Hulk, Ironman, Storm, Iceman, Thanos, Omega Red, Captain America, and Dr Doom.

So there are those. Then there's a major site called http://greenlanternhaljordan.blogspot.com/ which has a whole ton of other marvel characters, some good, others kinda bad.

Maybe its not compatible with the new mugen, but it was working fine before that. Can anyone help me with this?

Here's what happens
1. I load mugen
2. I go to character select screen
3. Select R_mika
4. Get to vs screen
5. get booted off with message saying "Error cannot load R_mika.snd"
6. I then went to check her def and I see that both the file and the text in the def match which they do
7. try loading again- same thing happens.

I can't figure it out. Is it because she isn't compatible with the new version? Anyway to change that?

Also I just found another problem with N64's Deejay on my game. Whenever I select him I get booted off with a message saying "Can't load animation.air" and below that "Library error message: Action 4300 must have at least 1 element."

Again, any help with these things is appreciated .

Hello, I've been trying to get all of the street fighter stages from Street fighter 1-3 and the alpha series and I'm down to just these 5 stages, all from SF 3.

Do they exist?

New Generation:
