Title: Meta's Stages
Post by: Dylan Hlava on September 22, 2011, 01:59:14 PM
These Stages are for one of my upcoming full games. But thanks to Cybaster's tuitoral on making stages ( Sorry Cybaster, I read your name wrong most likely because It was 11:00 at night when i read your username.), I can finally make some!

EDIT: Thanks to ecthelionv2's Feedback, i fixed the stages
The Alley:

In this stage you fight outside a toy shop and two eyes keep looking out of a trash can.
Music: Yes
Superjump: Yes
Animated: Yes

Update:
Characters closer to ground. Also added graffiti that says "Trash in the hood."

Boxing Club:

The boxing club is for a character  called bull, as his name flashes in the lights. Fans are also in the backround, Cheering you on.
Music: Yes
Superjump: Yes
Animated: Yes
Update:
Characters and ropes closer to ground.

Download both stages: http://www.mediafire.com/?96bznvt9891vz5z (http://www.mediafire.com/?96bznvt9891vz5z)

The Butcher shop:

This stage belongs to a pig called porkers. The shop has been taken over by porkers and one of the butchers has been duct taped to the wall. There also is a box of pork in the stage.

Heres some questions answered before you ask me:
This one was already asked but i'll answer.
Q: Why are the stages cartoony?
A: Becuase thats how the full game will be.

Q:What full game?
A:I honestly don't have a title yet. Cartoon Fighter is a slim chance of being the name.

Q:Isn't this for 1.0 Mugen?
A: Winmugen works, But 1.0 has no sound for me. I call it silent mugen.

Q: Who's bull?
A: Bull is a homage to Bald Bull from punch out.

Q: Who uses the alley stage?
A: A hobo who wears a trash can as clothes named trash can sam. He is a homage to hobocop from clay fighter 63 1/3.

Q: Where can i get the Evil AVGN?
A: Sorry, He's not up for download. Just a simple edit.

Boxing Club

Feedback:
I assume you're fighting at the edge of the arena based on how it's made.
Move the ropes more to the front and the characters more to the front and put another set of ropes at the back.
Or
Move the characters to the front to simulate the inside of the ring better.

i don't know what to say: it looks not promising :(

Actually people can use those as a base before adding animations and whatnot.

And if he's making an MS paint based game. I guess it would fit.

Yep, I actually use stages like these for a "base". I also tend to like cartoony looking stages like these, since I'm into chibi anime characters.

1. I tried my best. These are my first stages and to me, Posting a stage in the guild is like a test in school.
2.I didn't use cybaster's stage tool. I used that when i first made stages. If you bothered to check the sff file, You would see theres more than one sprite. Plus, cybaster's stage tool doesn't make animated stages.
