Does anyone know how to resize character slots on the default screenpack?

I'm using the big system file for MUGEN 1.1 and I want to know how to resize the slots to see the characters much better.

Open the system.def in the "big" folder. Where it says "character select definition," it'll tell you what each of the things mean to change the size.

When I change the x,y size of the slots, I noticed that the character slots are squeezed together, but still remain the same size as before. DO I need to adjust the portrait size?

Wait. That just determines what the slot is. How do I make the select portraits smaller?

Further down there's a spot that says "portrait.scale"or something like that. That changes the portrait size.

The character slots did have to be be resized through the scale system. Thanks for the help.

And yes, I did see the same needed to be done with anything that had a scale. Now I can see the slots of my characters much better.
