eatTHEphoenix said, June 27, 2011, 07:26:13 pmMerchandising my friend. The Cars cars rake in the money more than anything else.Indeed, I was thinking only in terms of box office and worldwide gross, while merchandising is also a very important source of income. But still, compared to some of their other movies ... bleh, fucking cars. Next they're going to make a barbie movie.
I am very happy that they made a Cars 2 movie.I didn't see the first, and I certainly not seeing this one either, but my 6 years old nephew is completely crazy for the toys and the movies so spoiling him will be so much easier now. 8)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_uG4mi17AoThe trailer for the next Pixar movie just dropped. Looks freaking amazing.

looks kinda LOTR. I haven't really liked anything Disney since "all dogs go to heaven 2"because everything seems to have a parental bonus/humor/predictable plot or character stink.

The Cars cars rake in the money more than anything else.In comparison, Up, which was fucking awesome, had very little merchandising and made very little profits. although to be honest that movie doesn't need a sequel.Speaking of sequels that will never be made because of bad profits, Scott Pilgrim. I want a sequel where Scott fights Ramona's GOOD exes.

Bastard Wolf said, June 28, 2011, 05:42:55 pmSo you didn't liked The Emperor's New Groove?Mulan was like the last good movie Disney made. And they did it before filmmakers jumped on the "suck China's cock" bandwagon (I'm looking at YOU, Karate Kid remake)
Bastard Wolf said, June 28, 2011, 05:06:35 amMain character is female so everyone's reaction is that it's going to be a movie for little girls.wasn't all pixar's film are for little girls.
Only a few posters do I actually consider as white noise and completely ignore-able because of their intense stupidity. He is one of them.
There's supposedly a Toy Story 4 in the makes? If the short before Cars 2 was any indication of what to expect, be VERY afraid (it was a mediocre Toy Story 3 short about a vacation with Barbie and Ken).
