That is exactly what it looks like when Hollywood takes a beloved nostalgia property and sandblasts away everything that people actually liked about it in the interest of forcing it to fit into their rigid, generic summer blockbuster movie formula.

Honestly, if I saw that in front of a movie as intended I would have just assumed it was some generic young adult movie:

Tired Breakfast Club stereotypes (and premise!).
Washed out moody color palette.
The "boy and girl leaping over a chasm" scene that seems to be in every one of these things.
Elizabeth Banks.

They didn't even bother to show some martial-arts action in a two minute trailer about a Power Rangers movie!

It's bad enough movies like Dr.Strange and Ghost in the Shell suffer from "inaccuracy", but this movie...just from the trailer alone I bet Jason David Frank is out there with a Dragon Dagger on hand going "They fucked it up, who's getting a mighty morphin ass beating first?"

In reality the line will be "You think I'm a big bitch now?"

And then she'll turn into some Michael Bay looking mass of CG and sharp edges and they'll be 20 minutes of noise and explosions

but yeah holy shit that trailer was a load of hot garbage. Absolutely none of it felt like it was Power Rangers related at all. It's a really dumb idea to try and pull a Fantastic Four 2015 on such a cheesy, campy series.

Yesss Archer isn't ending with s7's last episode. It'll go as far as 10 seasons too, even if it'll only be 8 episodes. The time between each season will be even longer, but I'll take it.
Season 8 is gonna be really weird, though: it's set in 1947, with reimagined versions of the main cast. This "Dreamland" premise features some pretty dramatic shake-ups, with different personal history and relationships for everyone.

I have no idea what this means for the season 7 finale.

Not really. It says that Fathom Events didn't release any info on ticket sales, which they did for The Killing Joke ($3.7 million btw), so in terms of box office performance, THAT doesn't look promising.
