I am interested in how you got mugen1.1 to work online?

I thought Ikemen was the only capable online
He is using Parsec which emulates couch multiplayer by allowing you to host and stream applications to your clients computers and giving them control of your keyboard or a virtual controller.

wow thanks....And what about the 3on3 he mentions? How is that being operated? using mugen1.1
Also do you know if this would have the ability to let a human control p3 or p4

Thanks guys half way through all the fixes. I decided to put a universal fix on that dash problem which i have been on allday. You will still be able to do the sliding combo but once you try to activate again so close to the opponet you will grab instead. Also will fix all phantom step problems...Thanks for helping me make this better guys

Can you do this against a cpu or have the button press activated. It should be enough time for a response. If not i have to correct this asap.

Also is it on more characters than Ryu? Dash punch thing.

The bug exists on many other characters but not all of them. (Ken being an exception that comes to mind)

P.S Wolverine's Crouching Y/B, Crouching Z is an infinite Crouching Z by itself is also an infinite but the timing is frame perfect.

Honestly man thankssss. If its not to much can you let me know which.characters you found this isssue on. Its hard for.me to replicate.. I will start the fixes today. Thanks for.everything

The Shinkuu stacking's problem is that it can instantly KO opponents (Talking about the laser one BTW). Take notes from Cyclops' Hyper Optic Blast stacking to see how to make it not instakill.
I mean that you don't have time to react after your opponent presses the light attack button.
Also found an infinite if you jab a lot, dash, then keep jabbing again.

You shouldnt be able to do multiple phantom steps to keep dashing and lp...Please send a video...Yes Ryu Shinkuu should take 5 bars to kill. Also you can eacape by pressing Hk and Hp during any special.Please send a video of this infinite sounds like a major issue that i cant replicate....Also keep in mind any gap in a lp or lk can be countered

Wow guys thank you...I really appreciate the kind words. I am in some tough classes at the moment so updates take a little longer. I have fixed somethings here and there and updated alot of the movements and overall things that were issues, mostly character specific. If you guys find anything please post them here or in a video and it will 100% be fixed. I want this project as stellar as possible.

welp, i tried. the resolution thing helped. it atleast stopped the error message. no response from the empty select screen that opens up now. anyways, good job man. the game looked cool on the youtube video.

Hmmm, make sure you are clicking the red mugen icon- that say RETROVERSUS. I dont know why you have an empty select screen, are you using an official download release of my game?

Also try the light version, your windows10 could possibly disagree with the graphics that are applied.

new to all this, tried to start it up and i get a pop up notification saying everything was good except "game coord 1920x1080... render mode 2_22...trying 1920x1080 mode 0x0... failed"

Change the resolution in mugen to 1280 x720 you seem to have downloaded the heavy version...Maybe you should try light if that resolution doesn't work for you.

Having a lot of fun toying around with the game. 

Have you had any problem with the bottoms of the stages showing during Supers?  Anytime I perform a super it happens.   I did have to drop my resolution to get it to play (1280x800)  Would that have any bearing on the issue?

Yes, that would hurt the fidelity of the stages, but I don't see why 1280 by 720 would work for you. Have you tried that or 800x600 that definition you applied isn't a standard one

Its fairly simple. Once you download it*Google SweetFx* youjust apply it to the game directory. Best to look up a tutorial pn what configurations to use...Keep in my mind my 4k mugen has it already installed the resolution could be lowered to where you maybe can run the high end version

hey, bwoods just go and get the sweetfx graphics engine and install it to retro versus and I can tell you how to put it back on 4k. Also are you the guy that has this problem on youtube? Sounds like the same exact question

Thanks Unomic for checking out the album and understanding and trying out the game, I don't think this was haters just a misunderstanding, and a different outlook between creators, I'm sure its all in the love of Mugen and art.

P.s. we had a big stream yesterday from gaming fbook channel if you guys are interested and in staying updated with retro versus please send me facebook request.

Im also, still working to find issues or problems or fixes so if you come across any, leave them here so I can fix them.

Try the light version it comes without the graphics engine. Windows 10 did an update that made it difficult for certain people to run SweetFx. Thats all it is bro. If you still have problems let me know so we can get it fixed for you.

No disrespect but I didn't ask to have my stuff was unpacked there. Someone has unpacked my game on this site(mugenguild) and boasted about doing so. I said you could google it also, idk about all this blacklisting crap, they want you to quit working. That's above my pay grade. lol

I wish you would have left a disclaimer before you released anything especially it being open sourced. I asked you did you want me to release the characters here, instead you tell me either make my full game unmoleboxed or be punished!! Like really understand your approach, I'm not removing the characters, we talked about this a whole year ago, you could have asked me then. I'm not about to just destroy it after taking them out before and you saying I didn't have to do that. You are literally the only person asking why is it moleboxed, its already unmolebox i keep it this way to stop rogue edits and videos online where it won't accurately portray the game. I said this 1000x times, I have Gohan and Piccolo in this game, for the longest and its always been moleboxed and been out for years at this point. I have worked too hard on getting them to fit right. If you want them released to the public cool, I can do that, but you cant threaten me to unmolebox the full project or delete them out...That's just trashy. So if you will like Piccolo and Gohan unmoleboxed on the next release I wouldn't mind doing that and having them in their own folder. And if I find another character to fit in their spot I will delete them, but right now, I cant do that, it's unfair and goes against why we do this. I played so many full games with my stages in them, molebox and unmolebox and when I tell you its not something you want to try to fight for it's not even worth it. Im not trying to have this problem every single time I release this game, So like I offered a year ago if moleboxing YOUR edits is an issue. I can resolve that be releasing them today. PLEASE TELL ME YOU ATLEAST PLAYED THIS GAME!  :argue:


So if the resolution can be resolved with you getting the characters you coded released fine, no one else has mentioned or asked for Gohan or Piccolo (not saying they are not awesome)but I can surely release them...If not, then come give me a hug bro, take a beer or coke, and a breather, cause my hands hurt from texting too much. 

Help me make this game better, help keep the community worth visiting, lets stop arguing about things, thats over both of us. People truely steal work moleboxing has always been a practice more so to keep a full game intact. My characters will suck a** outside of it, or just literally fall into abyss as soon as you dash. lol even on the archive people are complaining about my characters outside of my game breaks their mugen, of course, it does....lol. But bro, I wish you the best in all honesty and still a fan of you guys work...Whether this turns into a 2pac style beef or ends here im not pushing this issue any further. rr

Hey Peng....the problem is every character was updated with multiple things...So this one is a full patch.
I did some new adjustments to tag, new adjustments to special gauges, and air combo/launching and otg properties.


To the other posters, Sorry didn't know how to double quote.

When the words "own" gets thrown into mugen...I have to separate myself from it. Its literally what built mugen and any creator knows that...We all could be hit with lawsuits if that was the case. I cant give any more energy to the negative side of Mugen anymore. Download the game enjoy it, help me make it better, anything else. I cant care about, or give energy too, just making this game took long enough.... let alone this update. Like I said anyone that would like to be credited or have their characters released that I edited/created/full game. Please let me know... But also check MugenArchieve as they may already be released. I'm just trying to share my mugen to everyone, I hate that it's always about something else. Let's get back to creating and not arguing every single post. *Also these characters if you played the game, has been edited so much, it wouldn't even be recognizable to the original author, and that is not to discredit them what so over.*And I'm definitely not saying that my edits are better*

Its moleboxed and will continue to be, and I will start to put a disclaimer on it. I have worked on each and every aspect of characters that listed in my game and no one will discredit me from that. So with that being said, how do you like the update?

I just don’t want you moleboxing chars that are not your own. I don’t get why that’s hard to understand. Add a disclaimer that they won’t work outside of your game and it’ll make things easier for everyone.
