Being a SS fan I find this intriguing, but not quite impressed. Why are there cameos from other games aside from SS? Why isn't this using the rage gauge system SS is known for? Why not use some of the better things from Samurai Shodown 5 Special? Why does the window pretty much show the entire stage without being entirely zoomed out?
I'm also of the notion that SS needs to have its image repaired after the last couple god awful games it had, SS6 and Sen, but there has to be some consistency in order to make it look like a legit SS game instead of just something with a bunch of existing things pasted together. I've had a project brewing since 2005 and I'm in the process of updating it for 1.1. I'll throw it onto a separate topic when I'm ready.
This is for my upcoming Samurai Shodown: Rebirth by Blood full game project.
I am looking for someone who can help me in creating various custom frames for characters I have planned for this project.
First, Hattori Hanzo. I'm looking for someone who can do this animation in his SS3 and later sprite style. It's one of his SS1/2 throws.
Next, Iroha. This is a bit from her infamous super move. I'm looking for someone who can fill in this animation and put her clothes back on her. I want to make this portion of the move one of her standard throws.
Finally, Earthquake's stance in SS Tenka is just crap. So I modified his SS2 sprite a bit more to Tenka's sprite style used for him. However, there are issues with the shoulder parts on his clothing, and I'm a bit far fetched to know how to fix it.
I'd ask Noname for help on this, but he retired from Mugen ages ago, so any help regarding what I'm looking for would be appreciated.
Also, resources for character sprites can be found here.
Additionally, a number of SS tenka characters will need sprites for being tripped and falling on their face, Iroha included, so the sooner I can get help for that the better. I'll be able to show off this project relatively soon if I can get help on this.
