Its server error page even made me accidentally submit a topic twice :nonono: The down pattern is like this: 2:45pm down, 2:53pm up, 2:55pm down, 3:11pm up,..................cycling forever.........
question, are the 500 errors and the 503 errors caused by the same problem, or is it that there are two issues?
Is logging every single 500 and 503 error even helpful? Seems like spam to me, seeing as Valodim probably knows the state of the server very well.
Only if the logs are not working properly and someone finds a stable loop. If some stable loop is detected we might be able to figure out what it is.In the servers we use at work something like this happens every now and then, but its due to meddling, sometimes they move the ram usage to some other virtual machine, causing the others to die out for lack of processing, there is a chance that the host is rerouting it at peak hours to supply another client or something. If it keeps going what are the costs of changing host?
So it's okay to as long as we can give a decent time frame of when it happened? I.E. not just saying "got another 500/503 error"?EDIT: 500 error popped up again at 1:23PM.
So far the pattern has been the same. Atleast for me. I'm gonna stop reporting until I notice something different.
two things could be totally unrelated, but i thought i'd share.your 500 and 503 errors popped up around the same time as an error at cvg united that is logging a few people off randomly (happened to me all day yesterday)the main tech admin (our val if you well) found out that was being caused by some sort of spammer trying to force out passwords from whoever being affected (quoting as i really am not the person to discuss that)we both use smf forums. could it be the 500 and 503 hitting random people is related to the same thing that happened at cvg united but happening here and manifesting in that manner?

If that is what happen,is this some sort of hackIf it was a hack in either case that means there is some sort of hole in the forums and or there is an active hacker. In the end I'm thinking there is something wrong with the forum host. They are doing something or they are hosting some one who is doing something to cause these problems

volnuttzilla said, January 22, 2011, 06:30:46 pmplz read that againInsufficient proof. You just basically told me that it's true because you said it, which until proof happens and you lay your cards on the table is simply not fact.
