Fables is ending with issue 150.

Good idea to set an end date, the series is showing signs of strain. But that's to be expected for something going on so long.

Evil Dead remake sequel/Army of Darkness 2 news hour time

The director and the co-writer have said they won't be on board with any sequel, because they're doing an adaptation of that Dante's Inferno game, for some reason. Or wait, maybe they are doing the sequel after all, they're just waiting for Army of Darkness 2 to come out, and Bruce Campbell himself said that he and Raimi were going to do that.

But then again, one shouldn't trust what comes out of Bruce Campbell's mouth, says Bruce Campbell, because nothing is actually happening yet.

If it happens it happens.

If it doesn't, well......we can throw that one into the pile of "Cool shit that will never happen" like The fifth Phantasm film, or Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash (granted that one happened as a comic but it really shoulda been a movie).

I hope the guys who made the remake do come back for the second one in some form, since they really did make that first one so much better than was expected.

The CW is developing a show based on the DC hero Hourman, who invented the miraculous vitamin Miraclo, which imparts an hour of super strength to whoever takes it, but it's also addictive and causes cancer, except when it doesn't.

But it seems like the show is just going to focus on the rarely used precognitive abilities of the second Hourman that was given to him by the third Hourman (an 853rd century intelligent machine colony who is awesome and I miss his series and probably doesn't exist anymore because fuck you new 52), and be devoid of any other powers. Seems like it will be Rex Tyler (the first Hourman) in the role, as there is mention of an ex-wife and son. OK then. :-\

^ I like the idea of Hourman has his own series. More than the character itself, I'm more interested about what Hourman implies: he's part of JSA, and that's also mean Earth-2 (pre-New52), and also Infinity Inc. and Hawkman, so it's a good opportunity to see those chars in this series even as cameos

It doesn't sound like it would tie into JSA or anything; it sounds like a present day thing, which means no JSA, no Infinity Inc, no legacy heroes, and so on.
