A bit of an update on this Anti Loot Box Bill:
The only exclusions currently listed:
- Difficultly Modes
- Cosmetic Items
- Downloadable Expansions
So this could affect more than Loot Boxes:
- Games that sell Characters as DLC
- Any XP Boosts
- Any weapons or perks, etc
Games such as Mortal Kombat 11, Dragonball FighterZ, etc. would potentially have to change how they do DLC or just not at all under this new bill if it isn’t changed. Right now additional fighters not included in the base game could be viewed as an ‘advantage’ and be considered illegal.
One female character is depicted partially nude - her breasts and groin covered by arms or wisps of hair."
I preferred to say it's a saw-bladed sword. Good design BTW, reminds me of KOF's Zarina (an ancestor maybe??)
Darli Dagger's style of dress and weapon strongly recall Polynesian cultures, who have their own very cool warrior cultures which were actually sometimes inclusive of women!
Darli Dagger's weapon is obviously NOT a dagger. In fact I'd wager it was inspired by real life Polynesian cultures which often made use of shark teeth in their weaponry!
Question: has anyone considered that a Mortal Kombat character can be among the DLCs? MK11 will be available for Switch, and even if it wasn't, MK had games on Nintendo consoles before, so, I think we can expect Scorpion or Sub-Zero.
Stan Lee was a visionary. He made the Uncanny X-Men human, Spider Man your friendly neighbor, Captain America a symbol, the Fantastic 4 a family, and the Avengers heroes. He made Marvel... marvelous. Thank you so much for making all of us true believers. R.I.P.
Beyond Smash being build on the foundation of Kirby, this new game implying Kirby himself is going to play the star and Sakurai's involvement in both, Star Allies also wasn't that long ago and offered a lot of character templates that can just be transitioned over to Smash with some tweaks to make fit in better.
