Musashi (Street Fighter 4)

i'm a gay trans lady
to hell with this site, find me at mffa or w/e

god, took long enough to finish this fellow....

the final boss of street fighter 4 (the real one), with a bunch of custom things thrown in (points if you get the references that some of the supers are). essentially still the same gameplay wise, two buttons and whatnot. has all of his original special moves, although the bounce attack is split into two moves and work completely different now.

as always, thanks to drkelexo for the AI and throw

and also, as usual let me know if i made any dumb mistakes or need to balance something out, you know me.

Also, Musashi's VS portrait looks ugly as hell IMO. Was his portrait from the original game too much to ask for?

well yeah. i can't imagine how ugly the original portrait would look scaled up to that size, and i used it for like 5 things so i sorta got tired of having to use it repeatedly. that and i kinda wanted to take advantage of the fact that the closest thing to official artwork was available

indeed. seems his palette swap conbon would appear there except he got cut off, as well as 'ranboo' (yeah it's a reference to 'rambo'), which is pretty lame. wonder if there's a complete version of that pic anywhere else

anyway probably updating this later since i noticed some weird things going on with his super portrait. i assume (and hope) nothing else is really sticking out as odd here gameplay-wise

Nice obscure release! I'll have too try it out if my PC will (hopefully) be ok the next days.

Is a Conbon palette included? Since every char in the Game has a clone char (with the same movelist I guess).

BTW: Has someone converted the stages allready? If I get the possibility to use my old pc again, I'd love to give Musashi a home (+ a home for the rest of the uncoverted chars, since the stages are nice for an unlicened NES Game)

it is indeed. and yeah, they're simple palette/name swaps. i was slightly considering making conbon complete with sprite edits and a bunch of different moves (half of them would reference hayate from SFEX for no reason) but that'd be waaaay too much effort for me

and i don't believe so. my friend tried cliff's stage but then it bugged out or something, so that would be nice, especially musashi's stage. it's also incredibly easy to rip the music so i'll do that in the event any stages get made

also, character got a very minor update:

- taunt now gives super power boost when all of the taunt plays out
- wave meteor shower startup is now a bit faster
- fixed my dumb command move typo

i'll probably give him some more important updates when i got time

@Meldo: Could you please send the Stage Theme Songs to me via pm? So I can directly include them wehn I'am done with the stages.
If I find a Photoshop version somewhere on my externel CDs I might even start today on my laptop (wich is still working)
