Yeah, nope, it's a glitchy piece of trash with horrible gameplay all around, and missing many of the aspects that made Sonic Adventure great.
Glitches that make me die repeatedly and prevent me from completing levels for hours on end are not 'irrelevant'.
I can say it's a bad game because it's a bad game. That's why I'm saying it's a bad game. Because it is. It was the first bad mainstream Sonic game and marked the decline of the series. Try not telling me what I can and can't say just because you want to be right.
SA2 was the mainstream game that killed Sonic? The game that preceded the release of Sonic Advance 1, one of the best handheld sonic games made? Decline of the series? Generations and Unleashed(Day stages only just for clarity) are bad? I can name a few worse ones right off the top of my head, one of them is mainstream I am assured of that much. Sonic 2006, despite having really promising level designs and level concepts, marred by every technical issue possible. There's Sonic Labyrinth too, dunno if that's mainstream but hey. Give Sonic R a spin too. Also, go play Sonic 3D Blast, I dare you. Just a few Sonic games I can name off the top of my head that were much worse than SA2, and I don't even like the mech stages in SA2 to boot! Also the rap music isn't bad because music standards are different for each person, by technicality it's not factually bad. Also Eggman's theme in that game can nullify any complaints about music, how dare you forget it!
