Hiim having a winmugen with a kinda large screenpack with over 700 Chars. (i'm having the heaven or hell screenpack)Actually when im on Multiplayer with a friend of mine my winmugen freezes in like every 2nd match, when i play alone it works fine.When i use STRG+ALT+DEL and go to the taskmanager my mugen automaticly closes down. No other buttons works while the game freezes.we both use keyboards, iam having windows 7 and actually im having enough ram for mugen, im not using music in the background and the stages are all kinda low quality.i havent the no_limit patch installed, maybe that could be the point? If yes, how can i install it? Im having it on my comp but actually i dont want to configure my screenpack and all characters again.Thanks
Yeah, the Winmugen program was hacked for full functions, so it is really unstable.MUGEN 1.0 is so stable that in the one year I am using it, I never had a single crash at all. With Winmugen I get a TON of crashes.

Well actually i saw a Tutorial on this how to convert characters, but actually it looks like for me that converting a char to mugen 1.0 needs alot of time. And actually i like all my chars, so when i want to convert my 700 chars it will need ages to do..Is there any chance to import them to 1.0 without doing alot of things though?And what about Screenpacks in Mugen 1.0, is there actually one that could show 1000+ Chars?Thanks

Conversion isn't required. All you have to do is drag and drop your character folder then put the names in select.def. Whatever doesn't work is probably due to parser and syntax updates ( namely and most especially display/append toclipboard ).These are easy fixes. If you get error messages, post them here. We'll tell you what to do.It is not because ""they're shit"" and it never will be. I've done enough testing to know.
Thanks for your Post I have Mugen 1.0 now and actually it rocks, no freezes yet, but well only added like 150 Chars right now, the other ones will follow later Can you tell me how i do my Mugen 1.0 to fullscreen? Thanks
Like WinMugen there should be a data folder and in it should be a file titled mugen.cfg.In this file there is an area that says [Video] and one of the options under it is Fullscreen, change this from 0 to 1.
Thanks guys actually i cant understand why the grumpy smurf is hating mugen 1.0, its actually much better then winmugen One last question:Do you know i can set the HP of my characters up? In winmugen all my characters actually had much more HP, on Mugen1.0 they die by like 7 normal hits

Or just up the health percentage in the options screen.Seeing as how you said ALL characters this is definitely a better way to go.

Nukes AND their killer codes work on 1.0 so that wouldn't even be classified as an excuse.The Omega Tom Hanks Killer works on 1.0 ( For the record it isn't a glitch, it's just very VERY clever coding that comes from knowing the docs abnormally well ).The F1 Killer works on 1.0 ( This is a glitch ).Null Spammers ( Even I think these things are stupid ) work on 1.0 but most of them crash 1.0 ( but DON'T crash WinMugen [ What the fuck right ? ] ).
i know that but it could be the errors like "older version of MUGEN" as i said they work on 1.0 base on the coding of teh character either its good , bad or worse
