I was told it was unofficial, but it was the closest we can get to full fledged art of Miss X (like, digital painting, I mean). For the most part, it works tbh, lol.
^ Nah, I'm just Baxter from Def Jam: Fight for NYI need an opinion on the bottom part. I tried to model it after DelusionTrim's SFV Bison sprite, but I dunno, should I go with this, make it even simpler, or just use the Melty Blood shading for Ryougi here?EDIT: After some thought, I will go with a simplified version of Ryougi's MB shading with some minor changes shading instead. Not liking how it looks now. Expect some other fixes as well.EDIT 2: Updated. Made a small fix to the eye positioning, hair, and changed the bottom skirt in its entirety. I think it looks better now. Will have to work on the eye to make it match with the source.
So I got my Wacom tablet three days ago (Intuos Pro Medium). And to that end, I'm doing something called 50 Wacom Ideas, which is me sketching a bunch of things, until I reach 50, while timing myself (a piece of advice I took from Feng Zhu School of Design). With this, I hope to get used to using a Wacom tablet, so that I can do more lucrative stuff with it, or for use in projects. So have a look at the sketch 1, Lacoste FlatsTime: 43:36Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyI can forgive you for thinking what I did looks nothing like this, but keep in mind, I'm still trying to get used to a new tool when seeing this, so bullseye accuracy isn't my biggest worry..yet.In regards to Zemilia's commission, I'll be using ink's method for the entire animation. Seeing how effective it is, I should be done with it in no time.
Random one, some dudeski I came up with on the go.Unfortunately, I didn't time myself on this one, but I think it took me maybe 10-12 minutes, though I can't be sure.Instead of doing subject base sketches, I'm just gonna go all random and shit, for like 48 more sketches.
You're my only friend, Caribou LouSpoiler, click to toggle visibiltyIf you get the reference I made above, I will love you for it.
Tried to play with shading and coloring in grayscale. It can be better, but for whatever its worth, first attempt ain't so bad.
Making some progress. Nothing special atm because I want to finish one part before moving onto the other. So part one is her blue robe, then part two is animating her upper body and hair, and then refining anything. The shadow you see running across the robe, I know ripples don't work like that, but its hard atm to do it when the rest of the animation needs to be refined, so don't worry about that atm. Also yeah, this is Gambit inspired.

Oh, it's the girl with the knife. I remembered that because of my comission art for Zemilia and was the same char XD Nice animation man! Keep it up
The animation is really nice so far. Looking forward to the finished one. Also like the more than evident progress on your digital drawings. Seems you are doing just fine getting used to your new gear.

Hopefully, I can make the jump to animating with it soon enough.Ultimatum before I post it on my social media accounts (or at least the ones I use to share my art).

Since you also mentioned these were merely meant for practice, they might also just wait silently until you dish out the flashy ones.Talking about spritework, I love what you did with that one. The lighting is rea~lly nice. And those sub-pixels adding to that animation give this piece a fluid overall look. The palette is just great. Digging the blues. Good job, man.
