A major update for today: everyone that had yet to be added as detailed in the OP is now available! That includes:
  • Forla's library
  • DigitalJinny's library
  • ZolidSone's Gunvolt and Shovel Knight P2
  • Joey S.'s Kim Kaphwan
  • RagingRowan's Cloud Strife
You can grab them all at usual full collection link in my signature.
I guess it could be said that this is the last "major" update for the foreseeable future given that I've finally caught up with all the characters that have been released in this style up until this point, but I'll still be popping in now and again to update the thread when new characters release or changes are made to the released movelists (if any).

Another day, another update! Movelists for Yamaneko Arthur and Nero Claudius have been added to TornilloOxiado's collection. (Incidentally, I had planned on waiting until these two were out to release the full collection, but ultimately decided to release them as soon as they were done since I didn't want to keep people waiting. Turns out it didn't actually make much of a difference, ha ha...)

Hey, just a question.

I'm not sure if you count me as an OHMSBY-Styled creator, as most of my content is just edits of the originals, but do you also plan to add a movelist for Josuke Fuyuhito (my version of Ragna)?

It can be in the miscellaneous section if you want.

I'll consider it! If I do end up deciding to do so, I'll probably end up doing each character in the Webs of Freedom lineup as doing just one would feel a bit odd to me and it'll be after the other creators in the roadmap at the earliest.

Why not use the glyphs for quarter circle inputs?

Honestly, I'm just not a fan of how it looks. It's pretty much exclusively a nit-picky preference. That's kind of also why I intentionally remove numpad notation when adapting information from character Read Me files, though the main reason is that my laptop doesn't have a numpad and therefore I can never remember it off the top of my head.

For some reason it leads to a request edit access on my end.

Should be good now. I forgot to set it so anyone with the link could access it.
[Edit] Had to fix the fix like twice because I kept selecting the wrong file. Man, today is just not my day.

nice job, quick question, think you can have a zip file with all the character movelists, cause holy shit there are a lot of OHMSBY-styled characters

Thanks a bunch! The download link was just swapped from Mediafire to Google Drive for the sake of user convenience, so you should be able to download each folder all at once. I'm afraid I can't do a folder that just has every creator's movelists in the same single folder since that would lead to issues with certain characters like Asuna, who's been made by both OHMSBY and Vinnie.

Howdy! I've been working on movelists for each character made using OHMSBY's style that can be accessed in-game on the IKEMEN engine. I've actually already been talking with OHMSBY about having the movelists I made for their characters added to the official releases, so I figured I'd pitch the same idea to you! These movelists were put together using information from each character's respective Read Me file with some slight editing or rewriting where necessary to include explanations for unique mechanics. The standout difference from the movelists I've made for OHMSBY are the inclusion of the Guard Reject and Bonus Strike mechanics.
Here's a few screenshots of Akiha and Kamui's movelists to give you an idea of how they look.

(IKEMEN Only) Command Lists for OHMSBY-styled characters

(These movelists only work in IKEMEN. If you ask me how to use these in MUGEN I will make fun of you)

This is a collection of movelists for characters that use OHMSBY's BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle-inspired system designed from the ground up for in-game use in the IKEMEN engine. The data from these movelists is adapted from the Movelist.png files included in the character folder in addition to descriptions of a character's unique mechanics as detailed in their respective Read Me files.
I know I'm not the first person to do something like this, but I decided I'd pick up the slack seeing as how I couldn't find any that had been updated within the last few months and had already put a fair bit of time into these. I've already been talking with OHMSBY about having these directly added to their official releases (as you'd know if you've been reading their thread as of late), but I'm setting up a thread that makes them available independently for the folks who don't want to redownload 70+ full characters just for some sub-10 kilobyte movelist files. I intend to make movelists like these for the libraries of every creator to use this style, so I figured having a central hub to find them all would be convenient.

[UPDATE - 4/9/25] New preview images have been added to the thread. They can be viewed below.

Great work as usual!

Quote
Just a couple of things that should be clarified, jump canceling is only being available during certain attacks and dodge rolls need to have a direction inputed at the same time as Y rather than being inputed after.
At the moment I'm considering dropping the Jump Cancel part from the list since pinning down exactly which moves can actually be jump cancelled will be a ton of work, but I've fixed the Dodge Roll error and added the Ultra Dead Angle (which I only just realized was missing) while I was at it.

Quote
I'm going to need to eventually update everyone anyway to have special state compatability with one of Coco's moves. So if all of your .dat files happen to be ready by then, perhaps I can include them.
That shouldn't be a problem at all! I can get the movelists for all the characters who don't have their own unique mechanics done in maybe 15 minutes since I've already got all the actual commands done, so the lion's share of the work is going to be updating the Universal Mechanics and adapting the descriptions of Character-Specific Mechanics to (literally) fit into a movelist. Directly copy-pasting them isn't going to work as they'll just run right off the edge of the screen, so I have to make sure to format the explanations in each character's Read Me. Color coding moves and mechanics adds a bit more work to the pile since I have to accommodate for the fact that the hexcodes don't appear in-game, but I think it's worth it. To give an idea of what these look like under the hood, here's the current version of Dead Apostle Noel's movelist alongside an image of it in-game to compare and contrast.
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/ng6jx5arda0n2/DANoel
Incidentally, I use the character's own base palette when deciding what colors to use for the movelist. Dead Apostle Noel's uses the same hexcode purple as her spears for moves that set up Bells and the same hexcode red as the line on her spear for moves that ring the Bells. Adachi and Carmine's from my last post about this sample their colors from Magatsu-Izanagi and the Blood House respectively, but the difference was probably too subtle to make out at a glance.

I'd been working on putting together an Ikemen build with your characters as well as those made by others who've used your style for some friends up until recently, but the idea fell through due to lack of interest. I've already made an in-game movelist for every character though, so I figured I should give them a solid coat of paint and put them out for the general public as opposed to letting them rot on my laptop. They aren't actually ready to go yet, as I'm in the process of updating them all to fix some terminology and formatting errors. To get to the point, I'd like to ask you for feedback on how they look at the moment before I get too invested in changing them all. I'm hoping that they can be incorporated into the official release versions of each character once they're all done, as each individual movelist is less than 5kb in size and each character's .def file only needs one new line for the engine to find their movelist.

Here's a folder with a set of 6 images showing a little bit of what I've got at the moment; 3 for Adachi and 3 for Carmine.
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/vedkd983qpay0/Movelist_WIP_Images

I have plenty more I could say about these since I've been at it for the better part of a year at this point, but I figure it'd be better to wait until you've actually seen them before I dump any more paragraphs on you. Please let me know what you think!

Nice to see another creator picking up this style! I've noticed some visual oddities that I figured were worth mentioning:
- Her character select portrait is noticeably stretched.
- Not a huge issue, but your take on Kirino is noticeably taller than Vinnie/Ichida's.
- There's an odd lighting effect that appears when using any move with a super flash (Distortion Drives, etc.)
- The B version of Athlete Dash doesn't have any hitsparks when it connects with an opponent, but the A and C versions do.
- The visuals on her Astral Heat are broken in both 640x480 and 1280x720 resolutions, as detailed in the images below. (First image is 640x480, second is 1280x720.)
https://www.mediafire.com/view/lnls6kv5h20wpve/ikemen000.png
https://www.mediafire.com/view/v61it5xbgg26of3/ikemen001.png
(Edit) Was doing some more experimenting and realized her Forward C input doesn't have any hit sounds other than the sparkling effects surrounding Kirino.

if your PC can't run Mugen 1.1 with openGL then you can't run IKEMEN.

usually it's not your PC is powerful enough but you forget to install the graphics card driver.
even you don't own a graphics card, you still have a graphics card in your CPU. it's call intergrated GPU.

you need update that GPU's driver to get openGL support.

a lot of people simply not install the intergrated GPU driver so they can't run openGL app, like Mugen 1.1 openGL mode or IKEMEN

uninstall your current display driver and install the latest and try

Updating the drivers fixed the issue! Thanks all for the assistance on this!

Blender crashes on start up so that confirms it has issues with 3D rendering. Although I suspect there may be some optimization that could help because MBTL, BBCF, SFV, KOFXII, Skullgirls all run fine. Possibly something  to do with DirectX vs OpenGL but idk.
I went and picked up Blender to look into this since I've run both Skullgirls and MBTL on it with no issues and didn't have any problems with it either, so now I'm inclined to believe there's something else causing the problem on my end.

Also, always provide your PC specs if you suspect it is a hardware problem.
Sorry about that! I'm not one to troubleshoot things, so the thought didn't even occur to me. The laptop I'm using has an AMD Ryzen 3 3250U processor with Radeon Graphics 2.60 GHz. I don't know enough about PCs to have any idea how much horsepower that is or where the limits of its abilities are, but given that it had no trouble running Blender or other games that use 3D as previously mentioned I can only assume the stages aren't working because my machine isn't getting along with the engine somewhere on the back end.

Hi Eiton. Nice to meet you.

It is amazing to see such stunning stages even just from preview. Though when i was just about to test it out in the latest Ikemen Go build v0.99.0
https://github.com/ikemen-engine/Ikemen-GO/releases/tag/v0.99.0

i found out none of the stages seems to be working.

every stage i implement, seems to become black backgrounds with nothing displaying.

I have triple checked many times and made sure that what i've put in select.def (stages\Rainy Moon.def) and what i've left in stages folder (Rainy Moon.def/.glb/.sff) are correct.

Is there any method to solve this?

Helps appreciated.

I'm having this same issue with the initial batch of stages (haven't downloaded the rest yet as I want to fix the first ones beforehand) as well as SuperFromND's Super Monkey Ball stage even though I'm using the nightly build. I can only assume the issue is with my laptop given that the issue still occurs even with an unrelated 3D stage, but just in case is there anything I can try to fix this?
