Is there a way for me to patch individual characters to work with your active tag system? When I installed your patch, it increased the tag compatibility of my roster a lot; I thought my roster was 100 percent good until recently, but I did find one character that I can’t seem to fix.

There’s a Street Fighter The Movie Guile by Jessica Smoke that now flickers in the background while pacing back and forth when I try to tag him out. This is the only character I found on my roster that’s buggy with your tag patch now. I’d like to fix him myself if I can.

I’m still on Ikemen 98.2, so I haven’t been able to download your update patches. I tried to switch to 99 but a lot of stage edits were broken when I moved over. Also a few characters integrated power bars appeared wonky in the new version, so I’m staying put for the time being.

Thanks for your help. If there’s no way to fix him, no worries! 99 percent compatibility is still really good! And your system is still my favorite.

This is the weirdest request I ever made for this topic.

So I was trying to get some ai patch from "Holn" in Onedrive, it doesn't show for some reason...

Can Anyone Help, Where i can find any, because the onedrive doesn't show up. (maybe it has some problems i'm not sure what was going on).

So, I've recently figured out where my sounds go in: in scripts. the only problem is that I don't know which part of the script to put it in. so I would like to ask you if you know where to put the command in or if you know the little slew of text that allows me to put the sound in.

UPDATE 2: I might most likely give this another go as I still have the sprites saved and might do it entirely from scratch, Will still use Yuuki Terumi as the base for this character though

I would recommend uploading the backups on Google Drive, or having them in a USB as this happened me a lot too.

This happened to me once, I had a 500GB HDD back in the day and damn, not only mugen related files but photos and other stuff, I still can't get over it.

The file containing the sounds is the .SND file. To add a sound, you'll need Fighter Factory, go to the sound tab and open the .snd file. There is a "+" sign in the left panel, click it to add the sound you want. Give it a group and index number.

Now you can add it into your character using the 'playsnd' sctrl. :)

Don't worry. I still remember the conversation we had regarding these two and I will still go with the option of making Sho a separate character, rather than Minazuki's EX Variant.

I agree with everything that you mentioned.

As it hurts my soul to admit Terry is very strong, i'm sure over the years you've seen me bash in chars with terry and his corner pressure, however I don't think nerfing him to the ground is the way to go.

Even in XV (totally different game ofc) I can keep up the pressure and get in, Terry has always had those tools in his toolkit.

The most difficult part to deal with Terry currently is that sweep he has or the "fire kick"  though its an awesome tool to punish people trying to zone you out.
There is an argument on his 3tick EX wave as well but thats fine in my eyes.

Terry himself is in that Ken "mold"(If I remember correctly they are created by the same person) as an example in 3rd Strike, Ken has no big weaknesses and is good at mostly everything all around solid pick.


For me in general as Mugen itself is not super competitive etc, while I understand the balance concern, trying to keep the chars fun to play is also very important.


Fuck coming to game examples, Chun in 3rd strike is fuck busted, with her kara cancels option select nonsense fast walking speed  1 or 2 frame crouching low, insane super, insane buttons etc, yet I cant imagine 3rd strike with no fuck busted chun lol.

Thing is one thing I'm noticing with modern fighting games is that everything is nerfed to the ground and unique "tricks/quirks" like Q's crouching throw box etc are not a thing anymore, they get patched instantly.

For the upcoming releases, as long as I am active I look forward to everything, Dudley, Ash and Wild Wolf.

As for the 3rd strike stuff, I think I've mentioned this to you before or in the discord that you are the real MVP, 3rd strike is one of the most beloved games yet the cast in the "PotS" sphere is barely represented.

Old stuff, updates to Blanka and Rose.

Jman's butterfly meltdown was a classic but yeah though I annoyed the hell out of him on purpose I highly respect the fact and the way he went about it.

He promised us a Zangief years back but he is yet to deliver on it :P

Though even if the Jman is busy and cant help, if you want to make the chars go ahead and do it.
