how to change from varset to helper without cloning?

im testin the waters right now. ive been stuck alllll daaaayyy. im editing jin by dkdc. im tryna give him the divineinfiniman hitsparks. i got it to work for the most part but the sparks look weird like they go away quickly and the sparks all show seperately instead of together like say gouken, kyo, ken. and i learned recently it has something to do with the character code being the helper type. the problem is jins is varset. idk what to do ive literally been stuck on it all day with limited help. i much rather hear from u guys on how to change this.. all help would be greatly greatly appreciated
