Daaaaaaamn it's ALIVEEEEEE!!!!

Joking aside it;s cool to see you back man. I hope you remember me (although you proably not) Yeah it's been a while. Since then I moved on from Mugen but I still visit MFG to check out some releases.

Well too bad you didn't completed that Goku. I remember I've been excited about it especially planned transformations (I was huge fan of them, and kinda still am). So what that revival means ? You're back maybe ? I would centrainly curious what you could do with Goku. I might even fire up Mugen lol.

I don't use MSN anymore but if you wanna talk hit me with PM. Or facebook. It should be easy to find my profile.
Hey Jarek, good to see you are still around man! :)

Of course I remember you, you are even in the readme file, haha.

As for my return, ehh, maybe :) I work as a java programmer now, so real life takes up a huge chunk of my time. Mugen brought me on to this path, though, and my sprite guy is still around. So we'll see what the future holds :)
The transformation system is still in the character, but mostly disabled. You can see a kaioken form if you press START and press left or right, then release. It's not working besides the standing animation though.

I've added you on Facebook!

Hey guys,

Some of you might remember me, most of you probably don't, it's been forever since I've last posted here, and forever since my active time in the Mugen community.
I used to work on DBZ characters in the pre-1.0 era with a friend of mine doing the spritework (Geridos) and since then we've seen a few full games, youtube videos and whatnot using our two characters.
Well, we did some digging through our old DVDs, and found this development snapshot version of YGoku (or Damaged Goku as I've seen it appear), with previously unreleased moves, a reworked sprite base and improved AI, and I thought you might enjoy this blast from the past just as we did when we re-discovered it. Nothing has been altered, a few moves might not appear in the readme (The kamehameha can be directed upwards, there's a flying knee thing by pressing B-F-kick, a kaioken flash, a two-sided push which sends your enemy flying, and maybe a few more).

Images (blurry settings, it looks better with a proper setup):

...the only problem is the price for this OSM engine or mugen clone is very very high and i am not that interested anymore to pay such a high price. I have other hobbies to do :)
Do your hobbies from your own money, not from others'.

It might be worth purchasing the parts of the code he finished.
Or just fire him. He knew what was the deadline, but he just couldn't comply with it. You would be totally fair if you'd tell him that you'll hire someone else.

but first Chaotikmind is going to make a lot of changes to try something new and if he has time he will finish the MUGEN clone and make it open source.
That's dumb. Get it running first, change stuff later!

I guess that you think so because your programming experience is limited to mugen.
I also know HTML and Javascript, but you are right on that one, my knowledge is limited in programming.

Well, if they keep the old coding language too it's okay. Otherwise, heck no, I'm not gonna learn stuff over again.

wrong, there are several problem with the mugen language...
It has some bugs that should be fixed. Otherwise perfect (I can do whatever the heck i want with the language, so it's not my problem if newbs can't understand it in an instant)

Also it will change some statements into another "language" so that we can re-program or program characters by our self more easy.
Mugen's language is perfect as it is. If it would be simpler, we wouldn't have so much chances. Learn to code instead.

Sakir isn't the kind of person who'd get angry over something like this (as far as I know). Anyways, I'm not his property or anyone else's, I just like to support projects that I'm interested in, and that's my personal habit. I have my own view of things, and I post in the name of myself. Since I think this project can turn out interesting, I help as I can, depending on my mood.

I repeat : NOBODY CARES !!!
Me neither.

Custom AI, FTW!

But I have an idea (unrelated to AI):
You know, if you want to develop MUGEN to a new level, there will be always compatibility issues. There should be an indicator value for chars to identify if it's an OSM char or not [So OSM exclusive chars need to have something like "OSMchar = 1" in their CNS (where you keep life, power and similar values)], so the engine can know that the char is compatible with some features that would crash regular characters. I had this idea originally for Shugen, but since Sakir doesn't like it maybe you'd find this solution useful.
