Solution 1 : don' buy this toy. Find another pirate ship.
Solution 2 : don't use this character. Bu you really want want a Black Playmobile ?
Solution 3 : toss the collar and tell your kid the Black guy is a pirate like the others.
Solution 4 : be a dick and put the collar on a white guy. Screw the toy's instructions !
So many possibilities, all of them relying on the parent not being a shithead and handling her kid's toys properly.
Tha black pirate is a slave escaped and turned into a pirate, hes in the box and all. together with the little toon story i dont think hes meant to be a slave owned by the pirates.
or... it can be a subliminal message...
when are we going to have a 1920 gangster themed lego set complete with al capone and whores characters... eh...
can't wait to re-enact the saint valentine's day massacre...
