Well Thanks to a good friend i am trying to learn this style and put all of my favorite anime chars in this style....

That looks really good, bravo, outstanding quality, it looks like that new goku that that guy kratos is coding, perhaps it could be a new genre of dbz mugen game?

I Just started spriteing this way a few days ago and I wanted to apply to Dbz Chars and other anime that don't get too much hype around here...hope to change that a bit with this style...More on the way :sugoi:

Well it's really good and that would be awesome, there are definitely a lot of DBZ characters that get neglected, there must be 100 Gokus and Vegeta Super Saiyans but only like 1 Dodoria :P

nice job on Gohan, its always nice to see dbz chacracters done in a different style.
Not the same old tried style. I hope to see job sprites done this way in the future from ya

Yo thanks i still wanna keep on improveing on this so i am gonna keep the ball rolling with a bunch of edits....this time i decided to try Hiei from yu yu hakusho...I thought his pants would prove to be interesting to do and i wanted to see if i what i could come up with...im not done...but he's mostly there....just i thought post up my process...

while i am trying to finish up hiei....Check out the new yusuke...Me and vanguard Supreme  worked on...So if there was anybody who thought "hey what happend to yusuke? " this what happend I wanted to up the sprites up to the next lvl...so i will finish the sheet and then put them all in this style....thats the plan...Anyways post up some comments :sugoi:

Finally finish Hiei up....This my second "solo Street fighter 3 shaded" sprite that i have done....I got the old hiei i did the last style i was working in and the new hiei up there for a look my progress ...I still got few more sprites i wanna do before i get started spriteing anything on this style...I don't feel I'm good enough at it yet so...When i do i will settle down and do a sheet.

Well this isn't Sf3 shading right here...but i wanted to keep the top alive while i work on my next sprite...Which is a girl....which is why is taking me a bit longer...But This is a very much capcom-ish type of sprite....Its gohan...I wonder if anybody can guess the base... ;D

I should be done with my first female  edit in this new shading style for me pretty soon so stay posted! :sugoi:

nobody gave me any feed back about hiei i would like to know what you people think  :-\

Nice sprites but I don't get why the topic is called street fighter 3 style edits when none of the sprites have the proportions or shading of SF3...

Yuske Yuromeshi has SF3 shading, it's hard to see but it's that weird purple thing on them. As for proportions it's kinda hard to do considering they are anime characters with Astroboy sized heads and eyes.

Well mostly cause i try to use the same shading technique  as they use on the sprites from there....Hiei..Yusuke. and Gohan have the purple- ish tint on them on dark areas and i  know they are not the same size..but i want to try to put it on many different sized sprites....The next sprite i am working on is gonna be much bigger then these two.

But yeah your right...i mean i could make them same proportion wise...but i want to try to stay true to the anime a lil bit ...so yeah it will be interesting if i can master this shading technique ...

right now i am working on the sheet of the older yusuke....Which will be upgraded to this newer vers...also i need to finsh my other edit as well...i will do my best to post them both up here :)
