hey guys back online again had to take a break to deal with life...but back around...anyways i got so tired of the same old shinb and Sb edits...cause everybody does them..so i decied to try doing GGX sized edits and here is my first one since my return to the mugen scene..hope you guys like him...i did have trouble with the head..but i think it came out ok... hope you like it :sugoi:

I think its all and all pretty nice but I do think you should:

work on the mouth of Gohan a little bit more, cause I know
you can do better then that

Also the right hand could use some work around the finger
area. The front one could be shaded a little bit better then
it is now.

Look at those thing and the back part of the cape and your
there  ;D

Yeah my first time doing a dbz sprite this big so i figured something like this was going to happen...Anybody else?

The sprite is nice, however we see "same old dbz" pics and sprites and it's pretty obvious that you redrawed one to make your sprite edit, even keeping the odd perspective of it.

I would rather like to see something made out of nothing, keeping the GGX standards. Just to imagine how awesome it would be to see GohaN GGX style in Mugen engine.

Well this is the first time i did a dbz sprite of this size so its a lil bit new too me...i didnt think the base was a big secret...and yeah i would draw him from scratch but i cant do that...this is really just me testing new grounds...and how is the "normal sprite dbz" really how many sprites of gohan you see like this at all...rarely any...everbody does edits from shinb and sb dbz sprites..so this is actually a change up from the norm...

Yeah the hands looked kinda funny when i resized the picture..i am not sure how to make the one on the left better but the one  sure can be fixed...i plan on doing quite a few of these until i get the hang of it.. so i am gonna need people opinions on whats wrong and how to fix it... :o

It looks really good. Kinda like opening screen in DBZ Butouden 2 for the SNES? Although, yeah... the character is kinda facing upwards.

It looks odd for two reasons:

1) The sprite was done at a low angle, so what you've got is a distorted anatomy that's unusable as a fighting pose.

2) The hands and head are too small, even taking the distortion into account.

Well i guess some things were gonna look a bit funny since i resized the picture..which is really huge...i will post it up so you can see the picture and the base that i used



this is how it was pretty big..

and here is the base re sized



yeah i filped the picture around and then worked from that angle...i could go back and fix it but i am working on a ssj 3 goku blaze blue size.. He is a bit bigger then Ragna...But yeah that was my first try at that...i hope to only get better with time and practice....also my hand sucked i could do better now...but gotta finish working on goku...
