I actually like the CGI dog but what the holy fuck is wrong with that thing that shows up before the licker
Also, Neal ! I didn't know he was in this.
Goatee guy is Leon then is that it ?
The big ugly CGI Monster has Eyes on it's shoulders so it is probrably Wiliam Birkin in one of his later Mutations.
I find it kind of strange that they apparently mix the plots of Resident 1 & 2 together with characters of the Second game visiting locations of the first game etc.
Saw it. It kind of feels like a low budget fan-made B movie, but it holds up.

No budget on the shooting and the scoring, but some budget on the faithfully reproduced sets and some familiar faces - Letterkenny's Daryl, Gotham's Bullock, I was pleasantly surprised to see them, plus of course McDonough. Some made an effort in their acting and you see they enjoyed it, but it was kind of dragged down by those two guys who look like they could have been big Hollywood pretty faces but were too dumb to land big roles and play them well (Wesker and Chris, sorry guys). It wasn't too much of a drag though, it did go well in the end.
The sets looked nice and faithful, but it's obvious that they only made exactly what they needed and not one extra room and kept the camera tight to not show too much. Most of the money went to the heli crash and the truck crash, but alright.
One good camera work was Chris in the dark with only his muzzle flash, wasting his bullets and going through his shotgun, machine gun, handgun, and knife in a panic against zombie swarms in corridors, it's that one feeling that all the players know. That was funny. The rest of the camera work was basically mostly a close up on the person shooting and then a close up on a dead zombie, no motion - except near the end.
The writing clearly made an effort to stitch RE1 and 2's beats together properly, but STARS is just a team of local-born cops who wish they didn't have to waste their life in a forgotten shithole - they just happen to have a decent armory. From there and with the acting, Wesker's character just became a random local dumbass who thought he had a ticket out of there. Even though it also had the guys from HUNK's forces.
It does feel nice following the remakes to actually see the game proper in movie format.
If I struggled to the end of my determination, to the end of my way of life with my followers, if the result is ruin, then this ruin is inevitable. Grieve. Shed tears. But you cannot regret.
