Funny, I edited the whole Blaze and who takes credit is SeanAltly & ShinRei, that's usurping someone else's work.

I think he means the people who released him like it was a CvTW character which was edited by ShinRei.

The general rule of requests is to only asks for them if you are wiling to pay/comission them.

it was mostly implemented because certain users would derail release (and other) threads by requesting authors to make more stuff; so making up that filter ( Don't request things you are not willing to work/pay for ) worked wonders.

In your specific case, you did well in asking in a thread that is specific about that kind of stuff; similar to an author asking opinions on what his next work should be (we used to have topics like that long ago) and requesting from them there.

I think spiderman already has a good colour separation, tho.

Yes, if a CS exists then you can ask for it in the request section.

It's not the CS, its the sprites used. Using those dampir sprites were likely at the commissioners discretion. The pixels are just all over the place.

If he wants to use those sprites, let him. You clearly already have your own CS'ed shingo being worked on so i don't see the point on giving directions on using dampir's edited set

It was more like.. Showing an example on how it'd look better on the original sprites.. That those have a lot of problems. It wasn't that serious either way for you to make a note of it, feel like you just wanted to get a word in.. Add to the topic, don't @ me just to @ me please.

Sub-Zero looks great - him and Scorpion were on my list in the long long ago to separate.  A few suggestions if you don't mind:
-Use E's fishnet tool to add some texture to his outfit to emulate his MK2 look.  It seems complicated at first, but I can help you with it.  Works best after the full separation is done.
-I see you have his forearm separated out, if you could add another layer up to or past his elbows, you can get that frozen arm look he has in a few games.
-In the second sprite, his forearm color goes all the way up his left arm.
