What's up guys. This is a little edit that I made of Duracelleur's Mugen Multiverse screenpack.

Pretty simple edit with no fancy bells and whistles. A few things to note are :

1. The screenpack uses 50x50 small portraits and 240x280 large portraits, a template of which is included in the Portrait.Template folder.

2. The versus screen uses any sprite of your choice under the 9000,2 group and index, the position for which is also included in the Portrait.Template folder.

Comes with a clean mugen installation. Images and link below :

Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for this!

My only question is, where is the stage selection? I hear it moving but don't see anything.

Are you talking about stage image thumbnails? I haven't put in those cuz they're tedious to do. The stage names appear just fine though.

Yeah i meant the stage text. It's not showing up for me for some reason. I'll double check if I did something by accident. Thanks~

Edit: Tried a fresh copy, no stage text is showing up anywhere. I can hear the selection but no text.

Um, shows up fine. Check if you changed/overwrote something in the fonts folder or system.def file.

Idk what's going on then, even with a fresh new copy without me modifying anything, it doesn't show up. What font file is used for the stage selection?

Even the character names aren't showing up.

@Yue: Yea I know what's wrong. You need to download the Badaboom font for windows. You'll get it on Google. Download and install on windows and it'll show up.

I found it, and installed it. It's also included in the font's folder too. But that didn't fix it. It's still not showing up.

Last suggestion. Check the path for the font location mentioned in the system. You may have to change that.

Hmm, the path seems correct but I moved the font folder to a new one and changed it to it, but still doesn't show up. I'm gonna try replacing it with another font file. What font controls the stage/character selection?

@Yue: if the font is truetype, it may have a .def file too, this is where the name of the font should be.

An example:

For a screenpack I made with a truetype font, I placed both .def and .ttf files into the "fonts" folder:

Prosto.def
Prosto.ttf

When you open the def file, this is what shows up:

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

^ see if the name here correspond to the name of the font.

Thank you!! That was it!

The file for stages/character is Victory.def, and inside it for the TTF it was named BADABB_.TTF, but it's actually BADABB__.TTF, two underscores. Idk why it was like that but, that was the problem!!
