And that depends if your gameplay system allows jumpins to be done

As an example from the source game system I am converting my character to, Akatsuki's j.214A/B/C has variable frame advantage and pushes a opponent guarding in the air further up (which stays in line with the "footsies" nature of the game itself) depending which version of the move you use. However, it lacks safe frame advantage when it hits a opponent guarding while standing, likely because of low ground hit times. Taking it down to the current gameplay of my character, j.214C would be considered unsafe on aerial guard because the downward kick's airguard.velocity parameter of "-4,5", pushing the opponent to the ground. However, this still leaves j.214A as the weakest version in both frame advantage and usability outside of being combo fodder. I guess we can look into it further when I update the project thread with the newest version of the character for playtesting.
