Work on all the needed animations first: walk, run, back walk, backdash, jump, duck.

As for hit sparks, I'd go with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure hitsparks.  Never was a big fan of HiDef hitsparks, but you do what you want, I'll still DL this guy when he's done.

Okay, I made them and made them deadpan on purpose, the character seemed like he was bored to me.  I'll email them now, if I can, if they're too big, I'll split them up so I can.

I do plan on the crouch hard kick being a trip move. The crouch heavy punch will launch the opponent upwards. Does that make sense?

It's the basic layout for most characters, really, having the launcher being crouch hard punch and the trip/knockdown being crouch hard kick.  Are you going with the basic "Hypers" layout of MvC or going along the lines of CvS with Supers, Max Supers and Hypers?

I'd suggest making the heavy kick a round house with his other leg. The L M H would be a kick to the stomach, a kick to the face, then a roundhouse to knock them away.

I agree with that, but, if the moveset goes along the route of the crouch hard kick being a knockdown/trip, then I'd find the roundhouse for the hard kick knocking them down as well being a bit tedious.  This is, of course, only if the crouch hard kick is a knockdown/trip move.

I like the idea of using the same mechanics for Justice mode from Vegeta's Rage meter.  How many levels of "Justice" are there going to be?

Do you think that if i were to change the angle of the blur it would look better? Or should i just discard it completely?

Here's the Heavy Punch, it took a long time so i hope you like it. I actually have 2 versions,a faster one and a slower one, i couldn't tell which one looked better, what do you guys think?

Heavy Punch (Z)

Use the motion blur like with KFM's Kung Fu Palm special, it'd look way better.

Hard punch slow looks better in my opinion.  Only thing that looks weird is his right foot (left to you), it looks like it's twitching or spinning around..

What do you guys think? I worked a little harder on this one and I adjusted the fingers so that they're nicer to look at. I also increased the frame rate

The Med Punch looks more like a straight punch, rather than an underhand, making the motion blur look awkward.

For whip motions and attacks, why don't you use Poison as a base?

And for her raygun pose, try using Jill Valentine's gun pose.

Also, loving the new intro.
