If you're going to buy anime try to pick at least a decent one. I could list a few but I'm in a hurry.

But in short, Akikan is not even worth downloading.

Hmm, buy Slayers instead. Or for a short recent series well... the first season of Minami-ke or Maria+Holic, Kanagi.

Will follow ippatsu for fanservice, canaan should be interesting, aoi hana is yuri and umineko should be pretty good. What surprised me was the ovas, minami ke, aika zero, utawarerumono, dogs, to love ru, kodomo no jikan and higurashi.

Lost Canvas, Canaan, Higurashi, Umineko, Spice and Wolf ? Looks like I'll finally resume watching stuff after quite a while.

Higurashi 's next ova is going to close the current arc the next after that one will be self contained, so ones who don't watch ovas because they like finishing arcs right away can finally get up to date, I alreayd had them spoiled before they were announced so I am watching them as they come out anyway.

Umineko is getting new intro and outro songs, but the actual music will be a remix of the game's for the ones of us who have played the game that's great news.

and there are like 6 moe-echi-comedy series, so hopefully one can turn out good.

The only decent Anime on that list, is Kimba The White Lion. The rest looks generic.

At least Cobra? Nope, not eve close.
The new Cobra TV series (Rokunin Yushi) was moved back to 2010, the last ovas (The Psycho Gun and Time Drive) were pretty short. Psychogun was six epsodes and Time Drive was two.

Ditto about Tezuka's Kimba, anything by Tezuka is awesome, I'll watch it.
Same for Saint Seiya Lost Canvas. That's all.

.. Oh wait, new Hellsing Ultimate OVA. That too.

I just finished rosario to vampire, both season, season 1 was bad and a horrible let down; they tried to mix some comedy, romance and action and failed miserabily; season 2 on teh ther hand is like they stopped taking themselves seriously and went only for the comedy while adding bits of other genres, too bad for the series that my favorite character was the narrator.

I finally marathoned something this year, Welcome to the NHK to be exact. I had heard that it would be depressing, but I guess that goes only for the book.

I only watched 4 episodes of the anime but I read the whole manga in one night it was fun... and quite depressing to see so many similarities to your own lifestyle. :-\

Anime isn't that hard to Animate, if you can do something like Ben 10 standards.
