went to see the movie a couple nights ago, against my will and at a steep discount

i'm pretty much convinced that they purposefully instigated/publicized the drama surrounding an all-female cast just to pick up buzz and to make sure that that would be the issue on people's minds

the cast was not the issue; the cast ended up being about the only saving grace. and i think that they knew that

the writing was what you would expect from Universal Studios "Ghostbusters: The Ride"
the references and base concept would have been worn out 20 years ago

this is the same post-07' writer's strike garbage script that we see in every modern summer blockbuster, and is mainly just a vehicle with which to sell Papa John's and Progressive car insurance
