Yes, people are shallow sons of bitches, but appearances ARE very important, especially when you're competing with people of the same skill set.

And I'm speaking from experience too. I've been on a weight-loss regimen since April and in general, people DO treat you differently if you are more in-shape.

I've only really ever been on one side of the spectrum (mostly too thin), so I can't relate with being overweight, but I think that your personality has a lot to do with it too, but then again it really depends on who is interviewing you and what kind of personality they have; how judgmental they may be, etc. Do you mean people in general or only potential employers during interviews? I'm just curious.

well thats him parodying pretentious underground rappers in that video.
im talking about his pink guy rap album and the other rap songs he puts out. like that new onigiri song, which are all good don't get me wrong. but meh... i listen to him and all i hear is a slightly less offensive eminem with not as much charisma and delivery. i'd much rather go listen to eminem.

Nah, I just saw the image and got the joke.

... well, actually that's not exactly true. I also spent 5 minutes thinking about something else after seeing that picture, but it wasn't related to the joke. I got on a tangent and started thinking about how the internet works in UC Gundam. Having most of humanity living in space would surely provide extreme difficulty in creating a network linking all the various space colonies together, and that's ignoring how the introduction of Minovsky particles—which disrupts electromagnetic radiation and renders long-range wireless communication extraordinarily difficult—would impact such a network.

Is this canon?
