i was just wondering if anybody knew how to switch a hi res stage into a normal res and vice versa.
if no one knows thats ok
thank you in return

You have to extract the sprites, double their size or divide it by 2, depending which way you want to go, and reinsert the sprites in the SFF.
Then , you have to tweak all the values in the code.

does the sff file have to show something understandable? cause all i see is ")J!!11R9Z)9ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ P ÊÒÔÒÊÉÒÉÂÉÒÉÉÒÉÂÉÒÉÉÒÉÂÉÒÉÉÒÉÂÉÒÉÉÒÉÂÉÒÉÉÒÉÂÉÒÉÉÒÉÂÉ"
kind of writing

Open it with fighter factory or MCM or MEE.
Yeah, editing images out of a J!!11R9Z)9ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ text is rather difficult. ;D

so....double for normal res and divide for hi res?
-
LR -> HR : double the size.
HR -> LR : divide the size by 2.
-
and one last question... :-X when tweaking game value codes you mean in the def file right? and do you do same thing as in the sff file?
-
How do you extract sprites?

How do you extract sprites?
Save the sprite as it is opened in Fighter Factory as a PCX. Should be somewhere on teh left
But...no what you're doing...you know, BEFORE you get in trouble -_-
-
OK I saved the sprites as PCX so how do I do what Demitri just said.

Probably upload them into a place like Photoshop and Infranview, and change their sizes as he said, save them, put them back? I dunno...
