Final W.I.P Update



-Update Info-
1.Combo System is more stable, timing and execution is necessary ( especially for small characters )
2.Hyper Background has been added, Thanks to SyN for letting me use his.
3.Level 3 is now 4th Wall Crisis
4.P2 Aerial Recover has been added to all Air Moves and Launcher, preventing "easy" infinite's.
5.Damage is set to a specific level, giving him similar damage output of that in MvC3.
6.Reset capability, will explain in future video.


Note - I still don't have an A.I for DeadPool, I've tried coding it myself at one point, but it didn't work out as well as i wanted it to.

So im looking for someone who will code the A.I, if you are interested, please send me a PM.

DeadPool will be released on 5/30/12

Pls increase the pausetimes for your hitdefs by 3 or 4 and decrease your overall amount of juggle points.

Pausetimes are being increased and as for the juggle points.....im working on it.

They keep bugging me about giving credit to the unlimited, but i didnt even know they made these sprites.

I dunno why don't you look at his past chars.

And the sprites were on Wucash's Deviantart so that's why he's crediting him. Thing is, when something is on the internet, it is very difficult or nearly impossible to police what people do with it.

Sup. The guild doesnt police what people do with sprites or whats not as long as they are honest( dont lie about the sources) and arent being dicks about it . Im sure that firekyo will credit you, and that it was a honest mistake of his to believe that wucash was the original creator.  He obviously like your work or he wouldnt be using it.


Perhaps you guys could consider having more of a presence around this forum, if someone had know you more and had caught firekyo mistake he would have been called out on it longer ago.

Eh, I might make more of an effort to keep tabs on this place in the future..
If nothing else, maybe now that [The Unlimited] has seen that there is a demand for a MvC3 Style 'Pool, we will make our own,
It helps that I can make new sprites  ;)

So i was wrong about who made the sprites, so what, it's just a mistake.

I like the sprites you made, i think they're great, other wise i wouldn't be using them.

i know volzzilla didnt have anything to do with this, but he's the one who told me to give credit to you, but i didnt even know who you were until volzzilla told me, hence this being a big misunderstanding.

And yeah your right, all this arguing is kinda childish, but whose fault was it, i didnt even know you made them, i thought wucash made them thats why i was crediting him.

Now that i know you made, ill give proper credit to you.

I wanted this deadpool to play almost exactly like that of MvC3.

Some of the moves the other deadpool had, the deadpool in MvC3 didnt have.

Also, it's not like i took your DeadPool and edited it.

I took the sprites from that sprite sheet which gave me a completely different act palette,

credit is being giving to you.

I see how combos are done in the video and the big amount of damage they make for an Aerial Rave character
But of course he's not complete yet, so maybe you haven't added the dampener or whatever
By the way, his super pauses look odd, maybe adding a background or a super portrait might help
It's just me tho
Otherwise I like it, seems that is going to be better than the other Deadpool out there

The project is still on, i haven't posted anything because I've been busy with work.


Anyway,

while im online....

-Small Info-

1.Added a Hyper BG
2.Dropped his original Lvl3 and changed it to the 4th Wall Hyper  ;)    more info on this will be coming soon.
3.Got rid of some infinite's he had as well as a bunch of bugs  :P
4.OTG is now a bit harder to do, timing wise and whether or not the opponent recovers quickly.
5.Some CLSN's have been fixed
6.The opponent now recovers automatically after an air attack or launch instead of being in the fall state until he hits the floor.

Yeah, the damage is kinda high but i took reference from the damage he gives in MvC3, i might add a damage dampener.

I have update Deadpool and i wanted to share what i have done and finished on him, check the first post.

As i said in the first post, he will not be released by Christmas, im going out of town and he doesnt have his AI coded yet.

Here comes a "clever" kid trying to start an argument. Dude there is a difference between "cheap" and "hard", and I am aware of it.
I've never seen a char made by Flamekyo. Im not sure how he codes AI, so even if Im not expecting him to be stupid, I just wouldn't like a character that looks so nice or has great potential to end up being screwed up because of the AI. Alexlexus for example (Although again, I expect a million times better from Flamekyo)
Also, if you aren't the author, why do you care whether I need practice or not?

Ah man, this is awesome. I still have the original release sitting on my HDD and he's still one of my favorite, even if flawed, Mugen creations. It's nice to see you've spent the proper time touching him up. I'm certainly looking forward to this!!  ;D

Small Update

I know i said that was gonna be the last/final update, but i figured i might as well post this update/Info now,

it has to do with the interactive intro's.

At the moment, the intro's are only interactive with specific characters in my roster.

Ryu
Magneto
Wolverine
Dante

Since there's more than one character with these names, and im sure there's some with Evil, Holy, X, EX etc. within the names.

The intro's wont work with every character. The normal intro's will, which is fine, but if you want a character to have a specific intro with DeadPool, i need to code in the names for those characters.

Post the names of the characters you want with the intro of your choice,

Here are the intro choices :

1.Hey I Freaken Love Street Fighter, Autograph Your Spleen For Me!?!?

2.Short And Short On Deodorant Is A Real Bad Combination Stabby.

3.Magneto..... Welcome To Die!!!!!      (Of course this one is set more Magneto only, but im sure there's more than one magneto out there with a slightly different name set)

4.Next time, maybe you should let Nero do your fighting, skippy.....  ( I know in MvC3 it was a win quote, but it sounds OK for an intro IMO )

Not many choices, but some of you mighty want a certain intro for your character....

You'll fix chuchoryu ? Sounds like a plan. How about you code him from scratch instead ?

You mean verbal exchange ideas against certain characters? If so, I think he should have intros programmed against the more popular characters of Mugen of course, like Mario, Batman, etc.

To make the intro compatible with them,

i have an intro set for when i fight, say,  "Ryu" but that intro will only work for Ryu, not for Evil Ryu, Ryu EX etc.

Same goes for other characters, i just need the names of character you want so i can add them to in and they will be compatible with the specific intro's.
