Yes, I've found it:

To convert the previous HI-res stages to work on this new Mugen:

First, you need to inform the right size of the stage (the old HR stages are 640x480, while the LR are 320x240):

localcoord = 640, 480
xscale = 1
yscale = 1
(this values holds some nice features, take a look...

then, you need to fix this:

zoffset = 210

You need to double the value (since 640 is the double of 320).

And its works perfectly:

Looks like I can't run it either.

Win XP SP 1
Athalon XP 3000+
GEforce 5200
1 GB of ram

Crashes immediately.

Interesting to see where this is gonna go though, I'm a bit apprehensive since it's unclear how many of the original team members are on this new team.

I'm pretty blown away by this, I truly am. I think I'm going to stick with the hacks until all the bugs and major compat. issues are ironed out, but I am definitely excited that the process is beginning anew.

Probably true, but I've never had a problem with the AV/Malware solutions I'm using.

Anyway, I got it to run by downloading  SDL.dll and replacing the one that comes with RC1.

Also, is it just me or does ALT+Enter not work anymore?

Hey, it's even what Winane wanted, as much fun as he had working around that limitation.

Fixed, I swear it was complete when I posted.

I also see that the problem with "angeldraw" and it's use of the "ignorehitpause"  parameter are fixed so it won't make a helper's size increase drastically on hitpause.

Jesus... 19 pages and half complaints that it won't run.

Okay, if you run on Mac, the fix I think was on 16 somewhere. XP SP3, run it on 95-98 Compatibility mode, it should run, then.

I'm standing by what I said earlier, but my curiosity on running my stages has gotten the better of me, so I'm testing my works now then seeing what needs fixing...

This new Mugen made me a happy man. So, I was reading. There is only 6 palettes. Also, the character himself or herself can have up to 16-56 bits on a palette? If so, I will finish my WIP, but shit, I might have to use another tool besides Fighters Factory to make her compatable for this mugen as well.

AFAIK, its not in the stage.def anymore...if its true, I'm fucked, because I use it :(

I dun know if anyone else noticed this, but an arcade playthrough made me notice - how you won is recorded on the win counter - it differentiated between normal and hyper attack - am I being stupid or was this not possible before?

This was possible before.

BTW, O Ilu, I bet they've deprecated our old shitty scale method in stages because they are about to do something better, that actually doesn't break the characters' explods. Don't worry. ;)

Figured. I must just use lame lifebars that don't take advantage of it.lol

I'm having a bit of bother actually, didn't notice if anyone else mentioned this issue so it might be me - my winquotes and menu screen are squished up the screen leaving a black space below. It only happens on those two screens, stages, options and character select are fine. Did I mess something up when I changed screensize to 640x480?

It was confirmed: they took off the Poz values and scaling. fuck.

I'm not worried about the char scales itself (yes, that was broke), but I'm worried because I use that Z Scaling in all my fullgame project :(

So, no new mugen for me until they fix it. Damn it.
