Sorry about the lack of updates for a while, I haven't had too much time to work on this and I spent a while redrawing the details of a lot of the animations, but things should be more on-track now. I updated every GIF, so the ones I posted in my replies unfortunately broke, but I'll keep a collection of all of them in my first post. Here's two new animations, Mario's forward tilt kick and a mockup of his taunt.

While I don't imagine (what im assuming is) HCL's mario is the easiest frame of reference to build off of, you do a flawless job masking the original lower framerate and resolution with your spritework. Really appealing color and depth here, I can't imagine how long it must take to not only keep the consistency of the original brawl frames but with your paintovers and the new details those introduce. This is absolute eyecandy. Really appreciate the addition of new attacks like the tanooki tail as well. Cannot wait to see where this goes even if just for fun!
