yeah that's what I meant, Infinite's is exactly the one I use. I do just what you do. Part by part.

In the past, we all had a kind of different CS method.
Actually I started doing it very early in 2001 or 2002 with paintbrush by holding rightclick and eraser tool (replacing color method)

then tried with selections with photoshop

then a system of transparent layers in photoshop.

and many other methods. (I remember creating a thread about it long time ago, because I felt it was time consuming)

Since we have FF to edit up to 5 colors in a row, there is no actual need of other method from my point of view. ^^
My only regret in FF is we usually work in single sprites, when I like to have many sprites in a sheed. But this is just me...

yeah I was using studio since it allows up to 12colors at once on the remappen, but we all know about Studio's updates

Oh! 12? Really? Which version allow it?
Also, I didn't tried recent ones, so I don't know about the problems. I just heard there are some crashes. (??)
So, not something for me right now...

Yeah that was something me and a couple other CSers requested back when Studio was being made, and they implemented it and worked great, it was even easier to go through the frames. I'm talking about the earlier versions. Haven't tried the recent ones cause I'm waiting for someone to say it's working good. Due to my internet issues I can't be downloading FFS every single time
